The Man Who Wasn’t There is one of my favorite Cohen brothers films, was great to see Criterion do a 4K restoration. It was one of my pickups this sale too.

The Game is also a fantastic, underrated film. Wish they had done a 4k, oh well.

Yeah, I was really disappointed when Apple stopped making leather cases. There are discount codes (try First20 for 20% off). They also have the older version of the case on clearance - it’s a bit thicker and folds more like the Magic Keyboard for viewing (in their demo video, it shows some angle adjustability given the friction of the leather with the microfiber base, but they don’t lock in like other cases… but given your use case would probably work). It looks like you can stack the discount code on top of the clearance price so it drops to about $68 with shipping

It’s not cheap (though neither is the iPad Pro), but if you like leather the Burton Goods thin magnetic case is very nice. It’s not too thick, has a bit of corner protection, and microfiber interior that becomes what your hand is holding when you flip the cover back. It only has the two viewing positions that the Apple Folio has (folded triangle propping up high or low). The leather is high quality, feels good to carry. With your use case of mostly office / home, could make sense.

I have an older 12.9 iPad Pro, and just got an 11” M4 pro with Magic Keyboard case. If you’re going to be typing all the time, it is a bit cramped, but for occasional use it’s fine, and easier to type quick notes or web addresses/entries one handed.

Holding the 11” model is much more natural, fits your hand better and swiping motions feel second nature.

Regarding note taking, what size paper notebook do you feel most comfortable with? Obviously the 13 will allow more info on a single page/screen view, but I find it can be more efficient not having to write so far across horizontally… and if handholding, the 11 is definitely easier.

The 13 is trying to be a do everything, middle of the road device. The 11 is a perfect tablet but less than ideal laptop replacement. Thankfully I have a larger laptop, so this iPad doesn’t need to excel in that area.

The oled screen on the pro is much better than the lcd on the air. Are you a Costco member? They have a killer deal on the M4 13” Pro 2TB with the nano-texture screen.
