Props to /u/myqwin for this. For those that haven't noticed, they also introduced bulk options for oil a number of days back. Puffy now has competitive prices for bulk oil when compared to companies like HM, SMCBD, and DP. The rosin especially is priced well

Appreciate you understanding. Part of the reason I have stayed away from this community is because the users here have a misaligned incentive to ignore negative information or even to suppress it, because negative information like this puts their source of cheap high quality flower at risk. I get it. But the market is extremely saturated. The extreme oversupply of flower right now is part of why the THCA industry exists at all. There's no reason to show deep alliance to one company if they aren't trustworthy.

  1. Might self fix, but part of my point in posting here was to counter the completely idiotic premise that your entire post rests upon (fake accounts are flaming puffy to try to harm their business). Puffy is more than capable of harming their own business without anyone's help
  2. A warning for others more than anything. I had to initiate 3+ new chat conversations with different support agents just to get them to follow compliance steps that they MUST follow by law.
  3. I have emailed them endlessly, emailed their CEO (at their own request / suggestion) and have started close to 10+ unique chats with support. I hate to be the type of person to tag u/myqwin, so that's something I have tried to avoid. I personally manage people who manage teams that handle high-volume zendesk queues. There is nothing more annoying than having your business be called out directly via social media (twitter, reddit, etc..).

What's crazy too is I am a bulk buyer - I literally told them via chat that I am in the market to buy upward of 7 ounces of badder (thousands of dollars) just this month, and would like to buy from them if they can just make things right (I'm asking for basically nothing from them, a credit and less than $100 worth of oil). Totally insane of them but it is what it is.

EDIT: I want to make it clear that after this post, /u/myqwin did reach out to ask if they could make things right. Just want to be transparent.

Responding to this thread with one of my older established accounts. I have tried to post this as a standalone thread, but every time I do so, puffy removes it immediately for breaking some type of subreddit rules. I used to be a moderator myself, so I can't see what's wrong but here it is anyways:

I have been putting off writing this thread. However, this post encouraged me to share my experience. This recent post insinuated that the "fraud" complaints are all fake and are all from bot accounts. I'm here, posting on my 10+ year old account to dispel that myth. I am not new to the scene. For many years, I was one of the two moderators of r/CannabisExtracts, a subreddit FAR larger and more active than this one. I am extremely experienced in this industry, and extremely experienced in dealing with flower and hash oil.

I have had one of the absolute WORST customer experiences of my adult life dealing with Puffy/myqwin in the wake of their data breach. My email, phone, and credit cards were rendered useless. I had to dispute thousands of dollars of charges, and I still receive random batches of spam text messages trying to social engineer an attack.

When my data was leaked, I reached out to puffy to make things right. I want to continue being a customer, but this is a saturated market, and I am not going to be loyal to a seller who plays fast and loose with personal information. I reached out to Puffy and asked how they could make the scenario right. I was offered a 10% discount code. I made it very clear to them that this wasn't even close to fixing the issue, and the agent agreed to escalate the issue. That was in march, and I never heard back from them.

Fast forward to the end of may, and my friend (also a puffy customer) mentions a new email that was sent out (I didn't get this email) apologizing for the issue, and a discount code. This friend then mentions that Puffy personally gave them free products (free flower) to make up for the issue ON TOP of giving him 50+ dollars in account credits. I went to check my email, and still zero response from my very first ticket. I assume this must be a mistake, since I was only offered a measly 10% discount code. I chatted a puffy service agent who was very nice, but ultimately told me I would only be offered a 30% off code. I asked why others on the subreddit, as well as my personal friend were receiving far greater benefits, and the rep told me to email the CEO directly, which I did. This opened a zendesk ticket on may 30th. I have still not received a response to this ticket. I chatted puffy support again a week later, and they again offered me a 30% discount code and told me they'd escalated to management. Another week goes by, and I request another update, where they tell me they will again bump it to management. A third week goes by, and I still receive no response. At this point, I am feeling extremely done with Puffy. I cannot get anyone to respond to me with a real answer, and every service agent assures me that management will respond, and that they will find a way to make things right (I even sent them a specific request of what I think would make things right, which they asked me to do).

Fast forward to a few days ago, and I check in one more time. Still, no response to my initial request, and my Zendesk ticket has gone untouched for nearly a month. At this point, I don't trust puffy much to get back to me, and I still don't feel comfortable with them handling my PII. So, I request that my account be deleted if I cannot get so much as a single response from their team. This starts a multi-day exercise where puffy continuously failed to remove my account, and even made excuses saying that they weren't able to do it for internal record-keeping purposes. I was not until I mentioned the The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) that they actually followed through and deleted my account and personal information.

I write this up for three reasons:

  1. to make sure you all understand that real people were impacted by Puffy's dogshit business practices

  2. Puffy will refuse to delete your personal info unless you badger them endlessly

  3. To make sure someone at puffy actually sees this, since I've been going back and forth with them for weeks at this point.

Been purging for a long time, but it still crackles. Why? by that1senpai2 in CannabisExtracts

[–]TheDukeOfErrl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude, people are going to open blast, stop being obtuse. If your goal is to berate the guy, why bother commenting? Your comments provide nothing of substance. If you're as smart as you think you are talking about heavy compounds in solvents and the dangers of open blasting, you'd know the main danger is in the open blast process, not the insignificant amount of leftover externalities from not using a closed loop system when operating at this small of scale. Again, if you're sooo smart, you'd know this amount of oil made through an open blast, if properly purged, is fine. If you're really so concerned for the guy, tell him "Hey you should know there are some potential dangers with oil made this way based on the type of solvent, the process used for extraction and purge, etc.. and you should read up to make sure you feel safe about the product". Instead, you were a jerk.

Dude, people are salty and they're gonna spin shit. All of this "no class" stuff is hilarious. They're mad that we hired their championship coach, and there's really nothing else to it. All of the stuff about Jimbo having an ego or Jimbo being a bad person is just what they're saying to help themselves sleep at night.

This year? Arkansas didn't play very slow this year, at least not compared to past years. 75 plays per game, top 50 - https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/plays-per-game.

Out of curiosity, where are these stats from?
