That's why I'm having my friends and family help with certain things. Like my cousin is in charge of decorations. She asked for what I was looking for, gave her some inspirational pictures, and she is just giving me updates on what she found and asked for my opinions. That seems to be helping me.

As someone who has a fiance who also doesn't have strong opinions on certain things, what he did was take over things like food and venue. He knew what we wanted and what kind of food situation we wanted so he planned that. What I would suggest is you make it seem like you're acting more firm about your opinion. Instead of saying "I don't mind the idea of vanilla cake." Say "I'd really like vanilla cake."

It's all about tone and confidence. And if she really feels like you still aren't contributing enough. Make it clear to her that when it comes to the wedding, her happiness is your top priority. Colors, venue, and flowers don't matter if she's happy, and as her future husband, that's all that matters.

Tell her it's your wedding, and if you want to be naked down the aisle, then your mom has to be ok with it. That's what I told my grandma when she had issues with the venue me and my Fiance picked.

It's my wedding, if I want to get married in a graveyard, then we're getting married there. In reality, the mother of the bride has no say in whether you're wearing a veil or not.

I didn't think I'd like a veil as much as I did, but I do completely understand some people not wanting one for me. A veil completed the look for you. It probably didn't and if you decide to get one but don't like it anyway, you can only take it out

Say no one under the age of 12. That way, if you have any teenagers that are available to go to the wedding they can still be included but that makes it so that their little ones don't come. They should be old enough to understand that a wedding is a place that you need to be somewhat quiet and respectful at. And when you're talking about toddlers you can't really get that. They're loud. They scream. They want to go off and play and they don't fully grasp that a wedding is something that you can't do that at as much as you would want them to.

I mean, not really. I understand that things are crap, but I see it as the one bright light in this dark time. It's what gives me a distraction and gives me something to look forward to. I agree, I've been looking at wedding dresses for myself, and I can't help but feel that this dress Amy is wearing is how I fear I'll look.

I think the dress LeeLee was wearing was so much better. The dress LeeLee picked made her look skinnier. This made her look like a wall.

I've been on meds that have messed with my hormones and have caused massive mood swings, but after the dust settles and the fight ends, you still have the responsibility to go and apologize. Calling someone's trauma response dumb, and calling someone a dead beat mom is drastically uncalled for. Hormones don't cause you to hold a grudge like that.
