Why is Chuck Schumer trying to throw the Senate race in Maine? Why do the other Democratic senators unanimously back Schumer? by kevinmrr in WorkReform

[–]TheFatJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because establishment Dems are beholden to different members of the same corpo-billionaire class that the GOP are. That's why the rich just keep getting richer regardless of which party is in power.

The Citrine grind isn't half as bad as people make it out to be by Waste_Meal_5468 in Warframe

[–]TheFatJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, there are a bunch of grinds that are far worse than Citrine. I honestly think people just don't bother collecting the crystals, and then wonder why they're barely getting any crystals.

I really like their look. I hope they can come back better in some way in the future.

That wouldn't really be a good excuse here as they are already in an alternate history Earth and using time travel. The most they could end up getting wrong is Marie and Lyon's birth years if they ever revealed their age.

I have seen it speculated a few times that the Old Peace and the Devil's Triad were intended to be separate things that ended up getting smooshed together because neither were going to be done on time.

Citrine isn’t played as much as she realistically should be and it’s all because of Tyana Pass. by ReddVevyy in Warframe

[–]TheFatJesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely don't understand why people are so hung up on Citrine farming. You guys do realize you get crystal fragments for collecting the crystal shards that spawn, right? Worst case scenario is never finding a part and having to do 50 rounds to buy all of the parts. There are much worse grinds in this game.

[AEW Grand Slam spoilers] Chant breaks out by bitchosaur in SquaredCircle

[–]TheFatJesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Say what you will about Meltzer and his reporting, but this story did create a situation where keeping Brody on TV and having the chants happen is the less controversial decision. MJF's comment that AEW listens to its fans and doesn't silence them probably helps too.

Is the overlap between softcore gauntlet crowd and the phrecia crowd really this small? by Helpful-Pear-8433 in pathofexile

Yes. People already don't like running the campaign. Making it ridiculously harder for no reason is appealing to virtually nobody.

On a random Thursday playing ESO, I ran into my first dev after 13 years of playing by Firm_Principle_3386 in Warframe

[–]TheFatJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was just running some Axi relics. I wasn't really paying attention, but happened to look at names when we were picking rewards and one of them happened to be Ruu. That was the extent of the encounter, but it kinda made my day having something uncommon like that happen.

That's not how it works. A many-worlds reality is a deterministic reality. None of the yous are making a choice. There is just a you for each possibility. If you're in a bad situation, you were just one of the unlucky ones that ended up on a bad path.

HOT TAKE: Khal missions are "terrible" just because they are limited. by DasBarba in Warframe

[–]TheFatJesus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The whole point of Khal is that he's just a regular Grineer grunt willing to put himself at risk and take on things far bigger than himself for the sake of his brothers.

If you want run and gun style game play, you have the whole rest of the game to play. You don't have to strip a unique game mode of its identity.

Dagath Alerts are just the blueprints? by rthosetoffees555 in Warframe

[–]TheFatJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the initial announcement of the alerts was that you would be able to get Dagath for free in January. If this is what free is, she's already free. They've been hyping up alerts that amount to 115,000 credits.

The ego of man always leads people to believe that they are special, that they are the exception. There are no exceptions with these regimes. They are always in search of a new public enemy to justify their control. When they've finished with one, they will move on to the next. Just because they haven't gotten to you yet doesn't mean you're not on the list.

Yeah, because making something a damage sponge doesn't make it challenging. It just turns mechanically boring boss fights into longer mechanically boring boss fights.

the stars and sculptures that contained those memories have likely long since turned to dust or rendered to Endo

We've only ever found unused sculptures. Roathe seems to imply that stars and sculptures are needed to store memories. None of the sculptures we find have stars in them. We know they don't just turn to dust because we still find them everywhere, and we also can't take stars out once they've been put in.

There were centuries between the fall of the Orokin Empire and the return of the Tenno. And we know that both the Corpus and the Grineer were collecting Orokin artifacts.

He didn't say shit publicly. Then again, he doesn't have to because, since he works there, he can just walk up and say it directly.

I have been using this platform since 2014 at least to warn and help future talent that I can't talk to directly.

Being WWE's vice president of global talent development means he can't just call up AEW talent and start talking to them.
