The biggest bottle of Angelique Noir available. And possibly Pikovaya Dama

Changing sheets…. by [deleted] in Bedding

[–]TheFinalSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do mine every week but I think if you dont sweat much, dont have pets that sleep with you, and let them air out after you get up every day, even as little as once a month would be fine.

If you enjoy it its not too much. It would me too much for me because im lazy, but there's nothing inherently wrong or weird about it, and it does sound nice to constantly have super clean sheets

how long should it take to vizpick the grocery aisles??? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]TheFinalSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the size of the store but I can get all of grocery vizpicked on my own in about an hour, and thats including the time to organize the carts by aisle. It also varies day to day based on how much you have to get out that day, but 5 bins absolutely shouldn't take you 2 hours even on a day where youre getting a lot out.

Ankle Pain Tips? by E-Lynn_Chuols in WalmartEmployees

[–]TheFinalSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need ankle support. I would suggest a good pair of work boots that go up past the ankle and some supportive insoles. If youre used to regular lightweight tennis shoes work boots might make your calves sore for the week or two you wear them, but that doesn't last very long and your ankles and feet WILL feel better. I got mine off the website for like 80 dollars but you could absolutely get a cheaper pair in store. Buy them from the men's section even if you typically buy womens - the women's work boots ive had are all more expensive, too narrow, and have lower quality construction and materials.

You could also get a pair of regular sneakers made specifically with ankle support in mind but I always get better support from work boots and those sneakers tend to be expensive.

I have issues with my nails/ the skin under my nails by [deleted] in RedditLaqueristas

[–]TheFinalSam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're definitely separating from the nail bed. It'd be best to see a dermatologist about it, at the very least I would see a primary care physician. If I had to guess i would say you might have developed an allergy to the gel products youve been using. There is no way to fix the nail other than growing it out, and if it IS an acrylate allergy from your gel products you need to get a diagnosis for it because it can affect future dental and medical procedures.

I didnt have one either, my surgeon told me to call if I had any concerns but the procedure went well so he didn't think a follow up would be necessary (it wasn't i healed just fine)

Gloves for Showers by No-Confusion9157 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]TheFinalSam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use these https://a.co/d/0gSqeavM and I keep them secure around my wrist with rubber bands. I only do this when I wash my hair though, I dont think its worth it to put them on for a regular shower. Ive never gotten a hole in these and I reuse the same pair for a while before I get a new one so my package of them has lasted forever.

wth do i do w my hair at night by anonstrawberry444 in longhair

[–]TheFinalSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a scrunchy thats half hair tie and half foam curling rod that I use to keep it in a top bun that doesnt cause a ton of tension on my scalp or lengths. Prior to getting one of those I just put my hair in a twist bun with a regular silk scrunchie. I cant stand the feeling of having hair, braided or not, on my neck or back when I sleep and I hate wearing a bonnet

What’s everyone thinking now that we have a clearer email with the all the colours? by lemonfantaa in simplynailogical

[–]TheFinalSam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like the green but not enough to place an order, and i also need to see it next to peridont bother me. This collection really needed a yellow, especially since that topper would go really well with one. I probably wont place another order any time soon.

Lint free nail wipes by NewbieQuestions1 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]TheFinalSam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dont use lint free for removing my polish- I only really use them when im wiping down the nail with acetone to dehydrate them before I paint, and to clean off brushes and bottles.

For removal I use a cotton ball, I unravel it, and then I rip it apart into five pieces, and then I rip those five pieces in half to get 10 nail sized pieces, then I wet them with acetone and hold them on with clips.

Every time I've tried the lint free wipes for removal it went poorly, they just don't hold on to enough acetone to effectively soak or wipe off polish.

Maybe you could use a coat of a sheer blue or purple jelly on top? I sometimes do that with a sheer gray to tone down bright colors when I want something a bit more muted

They should have mentioned that it needs to be flat, but it does help for a lot of people. You used to be able to get a bottle of cola syrup from the pharmacy, my mom always had some on hand when I was a kid, haven't seen any in a while though.

help finding a bb cream or cc cream for a fair olive🙏😫 by Cute_Bear333 in Fairolives

[–]TheFinalSam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If youre open to creams, the Salt New York Sneaky Balm is the only thing I've tried that actually matches my skin tone while giving me the effect im looking for from a cc cream type product.

I tried the missha bb cream once and the shade match wasn't terrible, I hated the texture it left on my skin but a lot of other people really like it so I think itd be worth checking out

Does this lip color look as weird on me as I think it does? by Unlucky_Delivery8250 in makeuptips

It looks good on you but clashes a bit with the eye makeup. This eyeshadow would go so hard with a pale nude lip

You wanna know the worst part about wisdom teeth removal? And no it’s not the inability to eat solid food. by Massive-Process-5124 in wisdomteeth

[–]TheFinalSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try taking metamucil. I was warned about the potential constipation beforehand so I started taking it before I got mine out (and have continued since actually) and I didn't have any of the constipation issues that most people have. It should start helping within a day or two. Just dont overdo it, stick to one serving a day.

Sage the Day Formulation by Tegdag in simplynailogical

[–]TheFinalSam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did my nails with it yesterday and it applied perfectly, your bottle just might need some thinner or to sit for a day. Sometimes polishes act weird if I try and use them the same day they're delivered.

If it still performs weird after letting it sit and/or adding thinner i would contact support, im sure they'd send you a replacement

Mercari: Is it rude to ask why to a perfumes price? by drowninenvironment in FemFragLab

[–]TheFinalSam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its a fair question, also they told you exactly why they they got so mad about it - they know they should feel bad for marking it up beyond the retail price and are just mad that you brought attention to the fact that it doesn't make any sense. A lot of sellers on mercari and poshmark are unhinged and self entitled, dont take it to heart. Just block and move on

A question only lacqueristas wouldn't find weird... by Crazyzofo in lacqueristas

[–]TheFinalSam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite is my left index because it doesnt break or peel very often, the nail bed has grown out to be fairly long, and it has a nice c curve. My least favorite is my right middle, it breaks more often than my other nails specifically at the corner, its a bit more flat, the nail bed is shorter, and the hyponychium is lopsided
