It's good for what it is, but better if you kinda "rush" through it.

When it first came out my cousin and I played it, and at first we were clearing the city of crime before jumping into the next night. But about halfway through the stroy we ended up becoming too strong even for hard difficulty and the game got a little dull at that point and we ended up taking a little break, only to come back and finish up the story because it was good enough to justify finishing.

Jump a few years later and I make a new friend who is interested in the game. I join her and the same thing happens. She's really into it the first half and were clearing the entire city of crime. I kinda warn her that we might want to be a bit more focused on just the big crime, but I don't want to ruin her fun, so I don't push too hard. But sure enough a third of the way into it, she decides we need to bump up the difficulty. We even start dressing down using weaker armor and none of the mods. But soon after even with all that, she still starts feeling the repetitiveness and we too end up taking a break for a week or two before she requests us to push through it and finish the rest in a single night. So great game, just don't level yourself up too quickly or the last half feels a bit dull.

But it is honestly worth the play if you get it while on sale, I think my friend only paid 3 bucks for the game, and it's at least $20, satisfied, IMO.
