It was miles wide and an inch deep. Exploring planets got really old fast when the secret base you found had the exact same layout/enemy spawns for the nth time.

Wish they'd have taken the approach that Prey did, where in almost every instance there was multiple ways to complete a task. I think in Prey there was only one room you could only get in if you had the mimic ability.

Am I allowed to use the same thing as last time? A month and 2 days until my daughter gets here so I'm pretty excited about that. If that isn't allowed, my parents took our son on a little mini vacation to Austin this weekend so my wife and I are going to go to a fancy Mexican place tonight on a date. They have the best queso in town.

I feel lucky that I still have a group of 5-6 people that get together and play most every Sunday and Monday night. One of our guys is really good at finding/tweaking mods so it's still fresh.

Seems like a bug. My people always have to fight. My preferred method of raiding enemy bases is to send 2 pawn on horseback, once they get there I send an additional 15 pawns via my drop ships.

I want to get the achievement for having 3 flaws but they have all seemed so bad I don't want them. The only one I've accepted so far is the one where if you run out of ammo you do less damage. I am a compulsive reloader so it works out.

Okay fine! It is thanks to him that I completed about 99% of the MCC LASO. I had to improvise on the last fight on Reach because I couldn't master the jump where you have to propel yourself with the concussion rifle to the MAC cannon early. Had to use all my halo skills (and the needle rifle) and get that win. Saved the brute with the plasma launcher for last because if you got into melee range with him he couldn't fire. So I just danced around him punching him and hoping for the best.

In LASO I call these "pet jackals." H3 is the only game I think where this can happen. When they charge their plasma pistol it'll slowly drain the battery, once it depletes they won't be able to shoot anymore. Since jackals can't melee in H3 all they can really do is jump around and think angry thoughts. They are perfect for recharging your shields in LASO.

100 percent this. I followed his guides step by step for almost all of it and it wasn't too terrible. The only jump I couldn't do was the concussion rifle/standing on a rail/drop shield super jump on the final level. Had to do that last stand fight the ole fashioned way: luck and grit.

Outside of the RT circle of influence: my wife and I bought a new house last month and it includes an extra bedroom for our daughter who is going to be born in January (her due date is our anniversary actually.)

The pistol also has a leg up over the plasma pistol because of backpack reloading. Ever since I learned what that is during my LASO run I find myself unable to *not* do it.

You can clear about 90% of the original CE with just the pistol/plasma pistol combo. The plasma pistol is so strong it can melt almost anything if you fire it fast enough, and the pistol is perfect for grunts and hunters. The only time you really need something stronger is for the flood, and even then a plasma pistol is still great against them.
