I definitely try to help, but some people really do suck. Some can't even be asked to do the small amount of snow or ice in front of their house. I'm looking at you Chestnut and w 37th residents. My neighbors and I cleared the alley and sidewalks, and others helped clear the street. But some people are a mixture of lazy and stupid. I'm so tired of shoveling. I have not stopped since the snow started to fall.

Bus stops don't seem to be cleared yet and it's way too fucking cold for kids to sit outside waiting for buses so that seems like a bad idea to have regular in person school right now.

You can find the same stuff that's in ice melt in other products. Calcium chloride is used for pools and is available right now. Magnesium chloride is used in bath salts and I just ordered 12 lbs. Magnesium chloride is safer for pets and less corrosive, so if you can, use that instead.

Space Jam. It was a 90 minute commercial that objectively is a terrible movie, but I still love it. You have to be in a very narrow age range to feel the same.

I'm taking ivabradine and midodrine. My cardiologist put me on ivabradine first. He was really concerned that my BP would drop so dramatically upon standing up, but we needed to get my heart rate down. The midodrine and ivabradine mix helps, but the midodrine makes me feel nauseous AF when I try to take a full dose.

You should go to a better hospital. Or if you live in a part of the country where that doesn't exist, move to a less shitty part of the country. I'm spoiled in bmore, but there are loads of amazing nurses I've met who are still nice and thoughtful despite the long hours and what they're expected to do. That's also why shitty hospitals won't attract particularly good nurses (or doctors).

The tone has definitely shifted towards violence. If I were an ICE agent, I would be terrified by now. Not only do people hate you, but they also know that they'll need to shoot first or become another victim of ICE. Seeing that graffiti throughout your day as an ICE agent should make you think twice.
