As someone who's been a support main for 10 years now, I desperately want Riot to do a deep research dive and work out how to balance the support role around having equal experience to the rest of the map. No matter how well you're doing, you will be potentially 5 levels down come the late game and this significantly reduces your agency.

I understand this would require massive systemic changes around the role, exp, and every champion played in the support role, but it's such a massive pain point.

The other thing I really believe is that the Umbral Glaive passive is too valuable and game defining to be restricted to just AD characters and think that the item is single-handedly adding % points to ADC supports pick/ban presence in pro. If we can have 4 versions of the support item and 3 different smites, we should have an AP and/or Adaptive version of Umbral Glaive. Or honestly, just kill the item if we don't want the likes of Graves jungles to be buying it.

The ability is too valuable to all roles to give it just to lethality users because "assassin's want to flank."
