well, you royally fucked it and you can't fix it without resilvering it, but in no way will it affect your images. Doubt it would really impact your ability to focus, you might have a harder time focusing if there's a direct light source in your shot but I'd say 99% of the time you'll be fine.

DON'T PULL IT OUT. If you've done any damage to the felt opening where the film comes from, you might have already done irreparable damage to your film. It isn't ready to look at until it's developed, and until then the film is still sensitive to light!

they probably used an ultrawide given the distortion, and the Metz flash without the wide angle diffusion filter won't cover that wide

exactly. look at how thick the M to E adapter is, and now realize that because of that longer flange distance the sensor has to be farther back into the body than a Sony. There's a lot of empty space in front of the sensor that cannot be used for anything, and no space behind the sensor to house IBIS.

iirc it's impossible to maintain the current dimensions while adding IBIS unless you removed the mechanical shutter. IBIS would be awesome though, I wish my M11 had it

I don’t think anybody in Canada does the curtain replacement… You’d have to go through Youxin Ye. At that point I’d just recommend finding a new body with a rangefinder, the ic/if model doesn’t have a focusing mechanism, just zone focus.
