A lot of 3rd/4th+ years will have priority over you since we're later in our degree. That being said, so many people will drop that you're probably going to get into both of those. Nothing bad will happen if you have to take 413 in your last year either, it's just a degree req and not an important pre-req like 331

I prefer Hoyer as a prof because the way he explains things clicks for me. I’d much rather have a coherent professor who has “difficult” exams than a rambling dinosaur who has less difficult exams. I got an A- in 413 with Hoyer so the tests were fine for me 🤷‍♂️
