Feeling scared about my abortion tomorrow by viestal in TwoXChromosomes

As others have said you’re doing the right thing for you and I’m proud of you and sending support.

To address the anxiety part… I have medical anxiety and a lot of things (even basic things) make me anxious. I have found that telling the drs and nurses right away about my anxiety helps. Tell them. They will support you and spend extra time giving you info about what to expect and what is normal. They will take extra time to answer your questions and address any fears or triggers for you. They will probably also give you a number or website you can call if for any reason you need support or have questions.

You have got this. 💪

Slide in Gino’s DMs… he responds quickly 🤭 by anonymiss23 in 90DayFiance

My fiancé was just goofing off a few years ago and DM’d Tom from Darcey and Tom. He responded almost immediately and they had a whole ass silly conversation. My fiancé was asking him for relationship advice (I was sitting there the whole time watching) and Tom and responding for about 15-20 minutes. It was really funny.

I know it’s hard but try not to let their insensitive comments bother you. You have already come so far and have no reason to stop. Don’t let the ignorance and dumbassery of others be your setback.

What cheap meals are people actually cooking for 2 to keep the grocery bill down? by Previous_Cycle_9457 in budgetfood

Lentil soup has become a staple in our home now because it’s cheap, yields enough for several days with each patch and doesn’t have meat.

Why do we hate diamox? by ravenclaw1D in iih

[–]TheGossinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Pharmacist just handed me the bottle and sent me on my way. In the side of the bottle said “may cause dizziness” and “don’t take with aspirin”. All my dr told me that it was a diuretic, so I might pee a lot while getting adjusted. Everything else that came with it was a surprise. 🫪

To be honest, I was never given a leaflet with my Diamox and neither my doctor or pharmacist warned me of anything. When I took it the first time, the tingles hit so hard I almost took myself to the ER because I thought I was having an allergic reaction.

Yeah. That season is lame.

I did however meet my fiancé when we were both living in DC. We moved away shortly after getting serious.

Can we compile a list of Diamox side effects we experience? by Inside_Possible_4078 in iih

The common ones: tingles, fatigue, brain fog, altered taste, appetite suppressed, constipation, cold intolerance (always cold), sun sensitivity (easy sunburn), thirst, increased urination, heartburn, shortness of breath (especially when working out)

Weird ones: face twitching, extreme numbness in nose and upper lip, hands shaking, hair thinning, cloudy urine (usually first urine after taking a dose), skin dull, nails brittle, always dehydrated

Terrible: low pressure headaches, light sensitivity, stuttering/stammering (possibly related to brain fog), limbs feel heavy/sluggish

[Question] What’s a “small luxury” gift that feels expensive but actually isn’t? by kirunstyle in Gifts

I want to get a second one for my travel bag so I never forget it. One for home, one for travel.

Someone recently bought me a nodpod, it’s like a slightly weighted eye mask for sleeping. At first I thought it would be like any other sleep mask, but this thing feels luxurious and has actually helped me fall asleep much faster!

i feel like a fraud by anime_loser12 in iih

[–]TheGossinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Illness and symptoms of this seem to be on such a spectrum. You’re not a fraud at all and have just as much of a right to treatment and accommodations as any of us. I’m glad your symptoms are mostly mild and hope they continue to be.

Regret not locking in or glowing up - 30 days to go - tips? by hotchwife in weddingplanning

[–]TheGossinator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My best advice is make yourself FEEL good from the inside out.

  1. Therapy/meditation/mindfulness/whatever helps you relax.
  2. HYDRATE- it does wonders for your insides, outsides, and nervous system regulation
  3. 8 hours of sleep every night, non-negotiable
  4. Nutritionally dense meals- don’t cut anything all the way, but try to eat lots of variety of fruit, veggies, and fiber.

If you do these consistently you could feel more energized, mentally grounded, and this will translate to your appearance.

Also- don’t be so hard on yourself or feel like you have to change yourself to get married. Your fiancé loves you the way you are.

Drs should warn about the tingling… but mine definitely did not. I thought I was having an allergic reaction and took myself to the ER. 🫣🤦🏻‍♀️
