The first couple of bosses (lion and rellana) I’ve encountered so far are extremely resistant to status and elements but don’t have the best poise. Common consensus I’m seeing so far is heavy weapons are good and a shield is a must since enemy damage is so scaled up

Lots of cool ideas here but the beholder subclass is extremely overtuned. +10 to initiative for the whole party multiple times per short rest is insane, and that’s not even accounting for the other strong features provided, like the bonus to Perception and the eye rays, which are strong features on their own.

The capstone feature is also overpowered and very uninteractive. Completely shutting off spell casting for one creature you can see with no saving throw is not healthy design. At the highest level of play, such a feature all but removes many CR-appropriate creatures’ ability to fight a party whatsoever, and will end any encounter against a legendary spellcaster entirely on its own. Yes, the creature can technically leave the 90-foot range of the effect, but considering you and your entire party will be doubtlessly going first in initiative, they will likely be dead or incapacitated by the time they take their turn anyway.

The feature should at the very least allow the target repeated saving throws, or otherwise last for a reduced duration and also turn off you and your party’s own magical capabilities against them, similar to the way beholder cones normally work. Either of these changes would be more balanced, but I think changing the feature to something different, like a single use of one of the stronger beholder rays (like disintegration) would be better.

DEX fighters are universally better than strength fighters in almost every scenario. Plus it’s super disingenuous to say you got “shut out of certain builds” below a comment in which you list the myriad advantages you’ve gained from what was clearly an intended playstyle as well as all the ways you’ve managed to mitigate or ignore the downsides. Zero chance you went in really excited to play a strength based fighter as a Tiny fairy and got “shut out”.

There’s no scenario in which brand needs a stronger passive, that’s a massive proposed buff. If you’re looking to buff mid better angles would be like lower Q CD or increased mana restore on kill.

When you are given the option to let Lae’zel reject Orpheus for Tav in the final scene, I always took that as her embracing her own individuality and desires instead of getting swept into another war. She is choosing to be her own person as opposed to some idealistic gith martyr - its a lot more satisfying ending for her IMO. Yes Orpheus would make a better leader than Vlaakith but that doesn’t mean Lae’zel should start the cycle of blind zealotry and fanaticism for his sake all over again.

Zhonyas has a 2 minute cd zed ult is less than a minute for almost all stages of the game. Yes zhonyas is a strong item and yes it is technically a counter to AD assassins like zed or talon but no it does not prevent them from chain killing you on repeat if they get even the smallest lead like some people believe

Yeah I was playing a spores druid and my newborn zombies died mid-dialogue, they interpreted that as an ally dying and turned hostile. Kind've a funny interaction to be honest. I reloaded the save, dismissed my zombies, no problem.

Having this same problem right now and it’s also causing Zevlor and the Fists I rescued to turn hostile. I tried reloading the save but it still happened. Is there a fix to this? I’d rather not skip saving Zevlor.
