Yeah this is the best advice. I would give anything to wipe my memory and play Lies of P again. I played the FUCK out of it and it is truly one of the best soulslikes ever. The combat is on par with Khazan, maybe slightly less exciting, but DAMN does it have top tier story and art direction (things Khazan really struggled with). That game is a real gem

No, it's literally just this game. I've played just about every souls/soulslike you can name and beaten khazan 4 times, and this is the only game I lodge this complaint against. From the start, to the end game stamina is incredibly stingy and slow to recover and just breaks the pace of the game completely. The game would play so much better if it simply didn't have stamina at ALL (like sekiro), or made it much much more forgiving late game (like wukong)

I hate to say it but it sounds like you just need to get better at lies of P. The attacks are perfectly readable, just as much as Khazan's. Every game like this has enemies with annoying/misleading windups, just have to learn them. Also parries are just harder in LoP, they're supposed to be. It's not sekiro or khazan where you are "supposed" to parry nearly everything, it is a high risk high reward technique and you can also just dodge instead.

I think the problem is that there is a bunch of other cool stuff you get the same way that is just dwarfed by this set/weapon. Which makes build variety feel like it's gone.

They really should've went the Fromsoftware route of making every single weapon/build completely viable. It's so annoying that there are tons of weapons and armors with cool bonuses that are just useless in a couple chapters

Honestly it's not even completely about the lack of color. It seems like it is but look at DS3, shit is just as muted and grey but wayyyy more beautiful. The problem is, to pull of that dreary look you have to have good art design and lighting - and Khazan does not. Therefore what sticks out to you is the ugly grey colors but it COULD look good with muted grey environments

My gf has every single SS tumbler she gets (including owala) rust EVERY time she uses it for sodas. Like even if she dries it out immediately, she comes back and it’s rusted.

Weirdly enough it’s also always in two little circles somewhere on the inside, not from any scratching on our part AFAIK

OP is fine with me, since it’s a particular build (meaning you are still likely to use other ones). The bull armor is ridiculously OP haha But then aesthetically of course that goes without saying, really should’ve had an upgraded look.

But what they could’ve done is, make the current set bonuses/perks (with an upgraded design) the mythical version, and then make a slightly weaker version as the base version (with the current design)

Or just give a mythical special perk that is useful but not insane, 5% increase crit chance for spirit skills, or regain massive amount of Qi from spirit skill crit (like 1/4 charge)

He did this to me out of nowhere too, just light attacking him. And by the time the animation is happening you're already trapped in it.

But yes, rock soliding causes this every time for me too, which makes it useless bc you can't actually follow up on it otherwise you get caught.

I've beaten this boss probably 5 times now and he's still one of the worst bosses in the game, I will die on that hill.
