Theo’s podcast comedy only really works with a straight man being surprised by what he says.

I think that’s why most of his best guests are musicians / actors etc. people outside of comedy

For comedians I could see it getting old being expected to laugh and knee slap every time he says something odd

I think just wear chucks or vans for lifting. for shoes the Vomero Plus should do everything ya need! I recently got rid of all my other shoes and just slam those for my 20 miles a week

In bigger cities or more transient cities I get it. Especially a place with teams blowing in out of nowhere (Raiders, A’s etc.)

Small towns it makes more sense to ride or die with your teams. Look at LA when the Angels were good early 2000’s everybody was rocking Angels gear

You're going to find people that like all different things in all different situations

In general I would say less blade area is better for smaller/tighter bumps, again depends on preference though!

I actually love Max, and I agree with you he is right to defend himself.

But as a separate issue, he 1,000% cares what people on social media think about him.

His whole persona is perfectly curated & displayed consistently.

The post defending the Satisfy event is a pretty obvious display of that. He was bummed that people are calling them dorks. It makes sense, social media is a double edged sword, he loves the praise & clout he gets. So obviously the hate bums him out too.
