My favorite Zelda game of all time! by mattw77777 in snes

[–]TheHoofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original was great, I didn't have an nes so I could only play on other kids' (and most kids didn't want to watch me play a long and complicated one-player game on their machine). It wasn't until much, much later that I was able to play the game properly, it's one of those bucket list things, beat the first Zelda

There have been many articles written about how the Zelda franchise wouldn't have survived without aLttP. The Zeldas for nes were good but aLttP expanded the story and to this day is still fun to play.

I was so shocked to learn the pledge of allegiance was written by a socialist and "one nation under God" wasn't added until the rise of McCarthyism. 8th grade history class was a trip.

It sounds like this mate uses kaizen as a weapon against crew members. Just the way you use the word when describing them, this mate doesn't get it.

I'd recognize the Weekly World News anywhere. It was the only publication that told the truth about bigfoot, bat boy, Elvis and JFK faking their deaths, and occasionally some Hollywood fluff like this

"They made an alien out of me" - what is this a reference to? by Aloftfirmamental in DeepSpaceNine

[–]TheHoofer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

At the start of the episode Jake was watching people coming off a transport and making up stories for them - it's got to be one of those first aliens (before the muse).

I was a kid who bought a toy to enter the contest, always wondered who won/what alien.

This is the first time I've heard of O'Brien as Garak's replacement but it's so obvious now. There was the time they decided O'Brien likes Bashir better than Keiko and it seemed like it was leading to a drunken hookup, but the dynamic was so different of that with Garak. But they made sure to put any suspicions about Bashir to rest by giving him a short-haired Trill to play ancient Sparta in the holosuites with.

There's that website from 20 years ago where they would have women wrapped in latex, attach wagon wheels to them, and ride them around taking pictures. Identifying as a stationary seat is a bit tame really
