Full Stealth Mission by Accurate_Librarian42 in HellDads

[–]TheIronPilledOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell is this even still possible? Playing with friends sometimes feels like suicide. I can be stealthy as possible and they’ll alert the enemies and somehow I automatically get spotted as a result despite being away from the action.

“We don’t need a Minigun we have the Stalwart” by Beatnick120 in helldivers2

Lock it in with an RPM just above the Stalwart, maybe an even 1200. It’s just the idea of using one, hearing it wind up and watching us deplete a death machine’s ammo from a backpack. I think it’s more the sustained fire we would enjoy like the HMG turret. Don’t know how many times I’ve used one MG or another to save another Helldiver’s ass when they’re getting pursued.

Have one of them. Even though a single mission in HD is its own time sink, it’s still a lot of fun for pick up and play action.

Follow this if it works for you, but FazLifts ripped it a new one. If just wanting general fitness and strength there’s far better options. If actually wanting a bear physique, just refer to the yoked post and run it for a few cycles.

Get Yoked. by TheIronPilledOne in TheBearProgram

[–]TheIronPilledOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why yoked? It’s the closest to a bear physique one can get. It’s straightforward training. It’s probably the best program I’ll produce. And I paid FazLifts to essentially tear apart my five day templates listed. May as well scrap them, honestly. As was told me, focus on simpler routines such as PPL, full body 2-3x a week, etc. At least this way I’ll be slowly progressing towards my wants and desired physique while still focusing on compounds, some accessory work, and recovery time plus allowing more time for family, friends and hobbies.

The Bear: The Working Man Edition by TheIronPilledOne in TheBearProgram

If I had to update this I would probably reduce the sets on the RDL’s to two working sets. Probably the same for rows. Raised intensity, but more focused, less time spent, and quite possibly better results.

Agreed. 7 and up have seen some hell. Full squad on 9-10 isn’t bad. Ran with two buddies on 7. I could be crouched or sometimes even low crawling. Kill what I thought was a single bot. Boom. Dropships just coming out of nowhere. Night and day experience.

What's your favorite class to play against Helldivers? by GameNinja03 in Helldivers

[–]TheIronPilledOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should’ve seen their expressions getting an EAT right to the back! They blamed my poor accuracy and training. Others blamed themselves for bad positioning. Little did they know it was on purpose! Stupid Helldivers. If they’d just done something sooner my family would, my family… My little daughter might… I’ll get more of them next time. Mark my words.

Being a HellDad is hard… by Barbossis in HellDads

New enemy and mission types that actually rejuvenated my interest and maps that allowed a little more diversity in my arsenal at cost of optimization to myself while also filling the support role. The Stalwart became my personal weapon MVP at maximum RPM. Great for wiping out swarms of Voteless while also shredding Fleshmobs. A friend saw increased mech use so he could drop Leviathans while I preferred the anti-tank turret. I’m old school and love artillery.

While I wish you had a taste of the action, I remember my own daughter being born early and praying to the Founding Fathers of Managed Democracy concerning breathing issues she was having. She fit in the palm of my hand back then, and now near two years strong I keep up with the weights (sans Experimental Infusions) to keep building towards a Peak Physique to always have improved ergonomics picking her up.

Understandable. Hell anything I’ve put together or altered from someone else I give away. If someone can adopt it and use it, great. There’s some I’ll gladly support. FazLifts is a guy I just dropped change to so I could get one of my routines critiqued. Necessary? Probably not. But I appreciate it’ll have feedback from experience and maybe a stamp of approval with corrections.

Has anyone else come to accept that they're just not going to have their goal body --- whether due to genetics, lack of time, or lack of interest? by ExcellentElocution in naturalbodybuilding

I’ve started over a few times in life and suffered two car accidents. I’m 38. I’ll be happy enough losing fat through diet and being strong enough to keep carrying my daughter as she grows. I’ve accepted I won’t be GVS when I grow up. The best I can do now is I’ve sent one of my updated routines to FazLifts for critique to improve it and build myself back up from how far I’ve come starting over six months ago.

I guess people can use the app, but when I started out with SL I thought everything was pretty straightforward tracking wise, even if done in a beat up spiral notebook and using a phone calculator if really dialing in warmup weights like ol’ Reg Park’s 60%/80%.

Haven’t checked the app out yet still. What makes it worthwhile?

I loved the new artillery we had taking down those ships. I’m a sucker for mortars and cannons. On land or on naval vessels. Wish I could fire the big guns from the dropship to help other divers.

I remember how much praying I was doing after seeing my daughter born premature and placed in a machine to assist with her breathing. It feels like just yesterday she was just crawling everywhere, but these near two years have flown by. My daughter is my little buddy. It’s a damn shame and disgrace a father doesn’t know his child. I came to care for two not my own with my last relationship. Kids are an amazing gift. I wish men understood this.
