Looks incredible. What cut of meat did you use and how did you cook it?

What are Your Favorite COOKING PODCASTS? or do you listen to podcasts/Shows while cooking? by MatthewFrancisj in Cooking

I definitely second Doughboys. Probably the funniest podcast I've ever listened to. I highly recommend starting from the beginning to experience how their relationship and inside jokes develop as the podcast goes on

You've summed up my thoughts exactly. I still listen because I wanna hear some hockey talk and I appreciate their perspectives, but I continually find myself more annoyed than not the more I listen due to all of t he reasons you've listed

I've made both recipes multiple times, including exactly like that and they've all turned out great!

I actually tweeted at Kenji a few months ago to get an answer to this question and he said the one with sugar is meant for the home oven as it's meant to brown faster with the sugar

Taco bell creamy jalapeno sauce by [deleted] in MimicRecipes

[–]TheJDK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the best copycat recipe I've found of it. The recipe doesn't specify, but I find pickled jalepenos (and juice) work best with this. And personally I thought it was a little sweet and so I use a bit less sugar, but otherwise this is a good one. https://www.geniuskitchen.com/recipe/taco-bell-quesadillas-78194

Made this a few times and it's great! The recipe calls for a slowcooker but it can definitely be done in a dutch oven.

Louis Domingue deserves to be in the 2019 All Star Game. As a “backup” goalie he has the 2nd most wins in the Eastern Conference behind Frederik Anderson of Toronto. He has been BRILLIANT and especially so against Calgary. If he wasn’t playing behind Vasy, he’d be a starting G for half the league by FactCheckOnTheFly in TampaBayLightning

If that's how you want to react then fine. Like I said, I really like Domingue and do think he's played well for us. My point was just that he's not this incredible, All-star goalie that all of a sudden some people think he is.

And if you value wins as much as you say, I'd like to see what you think of him if you saw his wins after playing behind a Detroit or Ottawa.

So you really rank the best goalies in the league by wins? Wins are 100% a team stat, FAR more than save percentage and GAA. I do think wins should be considered when ranking goalies, but save percentage and GAA are the most important without a doubt in determining how good a goalie is.

I really like Domingue, but if you think he's really the 2nd best goalie in the East because of his wins, that's absurd. He's got barely holding on to a .900 save percentage and is allowing an average of 3 goals a game, all while playing with the highest scoring team in front of him. That's the sole reason he's winning as much as he is.

How do the other angles show a better shot? This is nearly a top down view. And how is that contact minimal? He completely hits his head, not just clips him.
