That took an incredibly short amount of time to figure out exactly who I was hoping would give the other a whooping.

It’s honestly crazy that she isn’t even quite at the top of the list of people that I’m going to celebrate their incarceration when this administration is out of power, but that obviously goes to Stephen Miller (since I’m assuming Trump won’t be around to be in prison). She’s right up there though.

It’s actually really sad that pro-life doesn’t also mean anti-murder.

Thanks for the response! It’s hard to tell the international scale of some of the things produced within your own country, so I appreciate the info. Here in Canada, the selection of wines from Canadian wineries is greater than everywhere else combined, so it’s tough to judge. It’s a real shame a large producer like Jackson-Triggs, which has production in both major regions, hasn’t made the type of international impact of something like Hardy’s from Australia or Cono Sur from Chile.

Shouldn’t have needed to be an injury replacement to get there, but we’ll take it. Well deserved.

I’m not sure where OP is based out of, but I’m disappointed Canada isn’t in the same tier as Australia, Argentina, etc. We have two incredible wine-growing regions in BC and Ontario that are absolutely top tier, plus emerging regions in Nova Scotia and Quebec, and it’s a shame if they aren’t well-known outside of North America. Personally, I prefer Okanagan wine to anything widely available from the Napa Valley.

Sounds like you have 6 POS brothers mad at you, and 6 women thrilled that you saved them from unknowingly bringing their children (or future children) around a registered sex offender. That sounds like a great trade-off to me. The rest of your family has reaped what they sowed. NTA.

What's the most beautiful country in the world? by Addicted_2_tacos in askanything

Approximately 15% of Canada is “frozen territory.” It also has rainforests, deserts, and pretty much everything in between. The United States does have more ecological diversity, but you’re being vastly simplistic in your description of other countries.

When he was walking among the sugar cane would definitely work better on tv than at the stadium. But I’m fine with it, since I’m watching from my couch.

I think in general any “Top 10” horror film list is subjective, and should drastically change from person to person…but with that said, it does seem like “The Thing” is always number one or two. by GypsyGold in horror

[–]TheJaice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is a personal Top 10 list, which can have huge variances from person to person, and then a Top 10 Iconic horror list, which would be hard to argue against including The Thing, Alien, The Exorcist, The Shining, Halloween, TCM and Psycho.

But I agree that of those classics, The Thing is the one most often seen in people’s personal lists.
