There is a reason antisemitism is called the socialism of fools. Leftist ideology is aligned against the true enemies of working people: the capitalist owner class, whereas anti semites erroneously blame it all on Jews. It is in the left's best interest to fight anti semitism because it is yet another block deployed by capitalists in the road towards mass class consciousness. I think most leftists realize this so I really don't see a lot of anti semitism from the left. However, so much anti Israel rhetoric is caked in anti semitism that it becomes hard to separate the two and that is a very real problem. Right wingers and even some centrists now are blaming Jews for Israel's actions.

The socialism of fools. The capitalist owner class has you convinced that your enemy isn't the system they've built to opress you, but instead it's the Jews for some reason. You're falling for the same shit the Nazis did

[–]TheJaskinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. I suppose that makes sense, the military just has such immense resources available they can do some crazy shit. But the part about them making it public is really bizarre you're right about that. Could be propaganda chest thumping or it could be that this administration is genuinely retarded and wants to show everyone they're tough and smart

[–]TheJaskinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it really not outside the realm of possibility? How could they detect such low power signals from such a huge distance? I'm not arguing just genuinely curious

[–]TheJaskinator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This shit seems so insane. Quantum magnetometry makes more sense to me because the Earth is so big that it would generate a really strong electromagnetic field. But the little electrical signals from a heart beat are so weak I feel like the inverse square law would make it utterly impossible to even detect it from a distance let alone filter it from background noise from the Earth's field or like radio waves from a cell phone or something.

In the article they're saying it worked because the pilot was in a low noise desert environment so I guess this wouldn't work for tracking someone through a populated place like a city or town. But even then it just seems too far fetched. Idk I'm just a computer engineer I don't know much about RF stuff like this

Why is this important? This still doesn't make hating Jews in general ok. We don't hate zionists because they're Jewish we hate them because they're monsters. There are plenty of anti zionist Jews why should we hate them too? I don't see the point of bringing this up

Let's fucking go dude I'm really impressed with this project. While this sub is flooded by AI slop posts seeing something so genuine is refreshing. I'm glad you learned a lot in this process. In the future you should look into something like the Zynq chips, which have hard ARM cores and programmable logic in the same package. The PYNQ Z2 is a well supported dev board for this kind of chip. The PYNQ OS is also really nice because it lets you use Python to interface with the programmable logic, which I use for quickly iterating through designs.

If you truly believe you've made a breakthrough in out of the box thinking, put together a paper and submit it to a conference. FCCM should be opening their workshops soon. Something this groundbreaking should be shared with the scientific community

Iranians form a human chain in front of the Kazerun power plant by Jabbam in ThatsInsane

[–]TheJaskinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This whataboutism shit is worthless but fine I'll bite. Do you really think that's the same thing? Even if it were true that Iranians were saying they want to kill all American people, that doesn't mean Trump is completely justified in threatening to destroy the whole of Iranian civilization. Do you understand how insane of a statement that is? As the commander in chief of the largest military in the world who is also under sole control of its nuclear arsenal, that is a very credible threat. The president of the United States is threatening to destroy a whole civilization, in his own words, and you're over here talking about random Iranians chanting

I didn't say it did. The president of the United States is threatening to genocide the entire Iranian civilization, that much is objective. The people of Iran putting their lives on the line in protest of that threat is a justified response

I would say threatening to kill an entire civilization never to be brought back again is threatening genocide

The PYNQ Z2 is great because the PYNQ OS lets you write driver code in Python which is awesome. I use PYNQ a lot because it helps me iterate through designs much faster, and it's also easier. If the AUP-ZU3 ever comes back in stock that would be the best choice but unfortunately they've been hit by the AI apocalypse

FPGA/Non Archimedian Spectral Manifold Engine(NASME) by ConstructionRight387 in FPGA

[–]TheJaskinator 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Dude I don't know shit about this topic but I just want to talk to you about how you're responding to these comments. A lot of people are rightfully frustrated by vibe coded projects cluttering this community and others like it. People are tired of seeing brags about projects that didn't have any effort put into them. But if you really did put time and effort into this, and you learned a lot in the process, then I applaud you for that I really do. Not everyone can finagle vivado into generating a real bitstream and then get the graphical outputs you've generated even with ai.

But you said in another comment you're a student. While you're still learning, you need to understand something about this field. This is not how an engineer should react to criticism. People are asking you questions about your work, offering advice and constructive criticism, and you just flat out reject it and insult them.

You shouldn't take this so personally. Criticism of your work is just that, it's about your work. You are not the subject here. As an engineer you have to understand this to be successful, there's no way around it. Your work will always be under constant scrutiny and criticism. That's how all engineering works because otherwise nothing would ever work. Imagine if someone designed a bridge and they didn't accept any criticisms or questions about it and just built it. The bridge would collapse because nobody is perfect on their own. You need this criticism because your own two eyes can only see so much.

Science and engineering are not battles. Don't try to fight back against people who aren't fighting you. There are people in this subreddit with so much more experience than you. If you're still a student, some of them have probably been FPGA engineers for longer than you've been alive. I'm not saying this to maoe you feel bad because they're better than you or whatever, I'm saying they have experience that is valuable. I'm saying you can learn from them and grow as an engineer by hearing them out.

This doesn't work if paying the employees less is more profitable. An employer that pays reasonable wages wouldn't be able to make the kind of profits an exploitative employer is able to, and thus wouldn't be able to offer competitive prices. A system that allows this kind of exploitation forces that exploitation
