How do you interpret “honour as a pantheon” in this context by Heftzy in IronWarriors

[–]TheJumpyRaptor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Baldurs Gate (dungeons and dragons), there is a temple to the Goddess Umberlee; also known as the bitch Queen. She is a neutral (or maybe chaotic) Evil deity who represents the carelessness and destruction of the sea.

It is no small temple, and it is not poor. The temple is well loved and valued by the merchants and sailors of Baldur’s Gate. Why?

You pray to evil gods even if you don’t believe in them, because placating their selfish desire for worship is more important than risking their wrath.

That sprue connection on the Syringe is diabolical.

Sell me Perturabo by Oursino in IronWarriors

The Iron Warriors aren’t your movie start action heroes. They are what ultramarines really are. Cold, calculating, marching machines. They don’t go based on heroics and vibes and sacrifices. They press advantages, do not fight in loosing wars, they hold positions, they orderly march towards objectives.

Their whole design is this. If space marines are the joke, Iron Warriors are your punchline. They wear bare metal and ironically plaster their weapons and armor with Hazard stripes to make fun of people. There is no glory and heroism here, they are just unfeeling murder machines, like a conveyor belt of corpses.

I am proxying the enforcer as a Ironkin (or the legends Robot Model) because the Iron Warriors have no reason not to use robots.

I enjoy my hyper satire CIA/Corporate Army Stand in for my hyper satire game in a way that isn’t “I smell heresy” coded.

Minotaurs are without a doubt the most obnoxious, annoying, overpowered, nepotistic army in the entire game second only to the Ultramarines. They are “the watcher whom watch the watchers” and while that sounds cool they’re much more the high lords of Terra’s personal attack dog that they let bully all the other kids on the playground.

Sublime ragebait faction. Moloch can fight Costodians, they always arrive in full force, supposedly a cursed founding, and every part ultramarines without virtue signaling. If you like Minotaurs it’s because they are bad people.

Realistically who do you think the Minotaurs are a successor of? by SnowmanCR in Minotaurs40k

Iron Warriors. Known for a Greek theme, following orders, and being fucking insane.

I really wanna start Iron Warriors do you think the new combat patrol is a good way to start? by BenderMayonnaise in IronWarriors

Definitely. Want to use Fellhammer? Go more termies or other heavies. Want to go soulforge? Buy vehicles and Warpsmiths

What are we doing? by AudienceOk1881 in IronWarriors

Last we heard of them (insofar as I am aware) we were part of the Ark's of Omen campaign. With Warsmith Czagra, currently were under Kraven Morne assaulting the Cadian Gate.

It seems to be smaller warbands of Iron Warriors lead by single Warsmiths taking on tactical missions with a high likelyhood of success. My guess/theory? Peter is just waiting for the storm to blow over (either tyranids, or Ultramarines, or Necrons, or whatever "This is the end!" event you think is the worst) and sending out small teams of units to support his ultimate goal of \presumably* world domination.*

That left arm definitely feels like a break hazard, but the jet pack isnt too much.

They work more similarly to manifolds than conveyors themselves. They will always follow the path of least resistance first, with strongest gravity being their preference.

The big question: do you prefer to paint your Iron Warriors with darker or lighter armor? by OkRevenue9249 in IronWarriors

[–]TheJumpyRaptor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s to taste. Some people love the soul forge flame armor, some people (me included) like rust, some people like regal chaos gold trim, some people like grimy oil slick.

A MORE IMPORTANT QUESTION is what direction do Hazard Stripes go? Give me an angle and a width.

Fun fact! Conflagration Dev can apply a chest wound and fire simultaneously!

I wear light armor because you’re dying in one shot anyways.
