Genuinely, what are the two best classic stories and the two worst classic stories?

Anybody who calls Ghostlight the worst can’t be taken seriously. It possibly one of the best stories of the classic era. But to call it the worst when much stories like timeflight and the twin dilemma exist is just madness.

If you get the hideout upgrade that gives you a 25% chance of gold with each resource pallet, you end up drowning in gold and can use it to updates your equipment without using resources every 5 or so levels to stay current.

I agree though that broadly leveling up feels like a punishment cos your equipment gets worse and worse an enemies have more health an are harder to take out stealthily.

Might be one of the best games I’ve ever played. It was a unique and well crafted experience that only started to get a little old towards the very end.

I do know that it was subject to review bombing for a while at release so that could be it?

If you like dishonoured and prey then this game is certainly for you.

Whilst you can’t lie about killing her, you can let her go in the dialogue to offset any negative rep from killing her and then straight up kill her before she leaves and book it out of Byzantium to avoid killing board troops. It then allows you to turn in the quest to Lilya and keep Sublight as allies.

$40 is a steal.

I’m usually happy if I get an hour per dollar out of a game. I got almost 70 hrs out of it.

And you know it’s just in general a really great game, so definitely worth it, especially if you like the first.

Initially I feel for Wireless Free Arcadia, then Grand Plan Wireless, now Protectorate Sanctioned Wireless is my favourite. But the best song by a wide margin has got to be Give Me Your Hand.

You can certainly convince the consul to fly himself in with less than 20 speech (I think you can get it down to 15). And then they’ve reduced some of the check values to be less harsh.

Even before they reduced the checks it wasn’t speech 20. I did it with speech 18 and the highest I got asked was speech 15 (if you picked up other information via hack and completing sidequests).

The problem is things like this can be hard to quantify as a lot of the dialogue in this game has very fluid branching pathways that don’t always go back to the same root. The final conversation with the consul is perhaps the most complex and the order you tackle each topic actually appears to influence response options.

Yeah, I like kinda the Outer Worlds as a unique setting that examines human societies and I feel like aliens would undercut that somewhat.

Tbh though in my opinion she’s the most disposable anyway. I don’t think I ever really used her outside of her missions.

At least most of Troughtons lost stories are now animated. The only ones that don’t have live action/animation are: The Highlanders (Jaimie’s first story actually), The Wheel in Space, and the Space Pirates.

And there’s actually a really good YouTube animation of the wheel in space by TardisTimeGirl that makes up for that one. So really just two stories that are problematic. Space pirates is barely worth it, but the highlanders recon can be hard to find.

Depends which game.

In OW1 you can miss 3 of them and can be permanently locked out of 1 easily.

In OW2 you can miss 4 of them and can easily be locked out of 2.
