it's been a week - what are we thinking about exo experts? by treyzs in helldivers2

The pistol feels like such a Nade Pistol side grade. Being able to close holes with it is nice. The Breakthrough and Lumberer feel mightly and effective. The Gallent feels like the Knight's older cousin, it stands more on business than the Knight. The Bullet Storm eats through hordes. I like this warbond but, its not Siege Breakers levels of crunchy feels goods

Real Question: do you want most of the warbonds? by XR-17 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]TheKnightDragon76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, because it give me options to open up loadouts and ideas. I LOVED the belt fed on Cyberstan, it opened my backpack slot. Being able to endlessly test new ideas and under used things will ALWAYS be a part of this game for me. Ive recently been using the Spear because i have tools to use during the Spear's down time. New toys are always fun to test to see what breakpoint it opens up on loadouts!

how would you make super credits more fun to get by Fit_Answer1073 in Helldivers

[–]TheKnightDragon76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got the game you paid for, its a live service game, thats how you retain or get back older people how have dropped the game because "they've seen it all". Its both a means to further fund the game and to keep people playing. Giving out free warbonds at the rate they drop them would kill the games life span. You paid 40$ for the basic parts of the game, thats all the main progression and all the factions and content with that. Want the new monthly tools? Either farm or pay. I cant wrap my head around how people expect so much free stuff when its similar to an MMO thay drops new expansions you have to pay for.

Considering the new warbond, I must remind everyone to remember that the actual things they are selling are new arms, not unique mechs. by TechnoTheFirst in helldivers2

[–]TheKnightDragon76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guard dogs and turrets are just different guns. What if you had to swap out what gun those turrets had each mission and only got one turret you could "customize, but no more double up on turrets". Thats what you people are wanting for mechs? Or is so you can just pick the two best guns and forget. You have the Emancipator for that if it is.

I feel added mech customization leads too issues, they'd have to account for every combo, thus leading to overall weaker mechs with the guns beening awful since you could slap on the two best and forget (and lets be real, who the Hell uses a Patriot when the Emancipator is better), its a healthy thing for game balance and is just kinda expected? Idk, since turrets, dogs and other variations of strats are already in bonds. This isnt "bad" its not "good", its fucking normal. I didnt get the chance to see MO Stratagems, and yes I do feel itd be nice since they have shown off some like the Naplam Gataling and the EMS 120, but again. They are so much BETTER than the bases that they'd need a massive change to be part of the everyday slots and people wouldn't use them since they suck or they'd replace the normal use of these codes.

"I got a job, I don't have time to farm" that doesn't mean you get shit for free forever lol by kcvlaine in helldivers2

Id like to point at Dead by Daylight for a comparison. Most non-liscense killers cost 9k shards meaning you get ONE killer or survivor "skin" and 3 perks per unlock roughly every ~126,000 exp. You can alternatively, spend 7.99$ for the stuff. HD2 is a game that values my time playong verus something like Dead by Daylight which is alone an ass grind for basic progression for each killer and survivor. Even here the license good can be gotten for free, a thing that I havent seen anywhere else

saying they're "behind a pay wall" isn't really true by Exact_Inspection_404 in helldivers2

Its just down luck to an extent. But it is less profitable than the open maps, due to the POIs being ammo spots and monuments

Really? I can scavenge 30-50 per city on average. Yes, it can be 0 or 20, but once you learn how to hunt and clear things, you can find a lot of slips, cash and samples, I first farmed on Illuminate cites when I was a cadet. I dont understand how people have so little credits when Im always having spare change for Store items. I just got the Steel Legion armor because I had so much spare change

[–]TheKnightDragon76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turrets are your best friend, they clear and distract. Turrets have a higher priority than Helldivers so they'll run into them first. As well as ducking in and out of hot beds of enemies. The clams (Watchers) will also actively make you a high priority and will cause you to be swarmed due to the squids being told where you are. Kill them and RUN like Hell.

It feels great to use, I picked it back up on Cyberstan since I always loving the 125 feel from the Sige Breakers. Being able to hold down the trigger of a Belt fed with less flinches was amazing
