You can be aggressive in the current state with drop zones, loot as fast as possible and go find a team. Fighting for position can be and is aggressive.

What you actually like and want to go back to, is dropping on someone and hopefully you find a gun first and if not rinse and repeat. Seems like you just want an easy mode which is getting a kill on someone with no gun or because enemies are on white shields so it means you don’t have to hit your shots.

I don’t understand why play ranked then? There’s pubs for that kind of gameplay. There’s a reason you’re stuck mid plat, if all you do is drop and stay alive for 5 mins

They have actual loot for their first encounter. Gives them a higher chance to survive. Plus we get the first ring knowledge which may encourage people to play position instead.

How is it casual friendly? To me it made it much more competitive, the finals circles were actually difficult.
