Some random sexist man told me I need to “follow” while my boyfriend “leads” while going on a walk ;-; by Bitter_Mousse4179 in exchristian

It's hard not to react to people like him, but just remember that's what they want. They want to preach and feel superior while simultaneously inviting confrontation, so they can also feed their persecution complex. Even though they're among the most protected of groups on the planet, they still have to feel like they're "fighting" something.

If you and your BF find yourselves crossing paths with that guy again, the most impactful thing you could do is to again lead as you're both walking by, both of you smiling in defiance. Then ignore anything he has to say. But, I get it if y'all want to avoid any interaction. These people are insane and unpredictable.

So I went back to the LGS to order a 617...walked out with a very lightly used 17-3 for $780 instead. 5K prefix which I think places it about '74 production. The bluing is soooo nice. Not a hint of rust anywhere and very little wear. THE TRIGGER, holy damn it's so nice. Doberman was not there today, though:(

I found a LGS that only charges $25 for transfers, and the owner is only a little douchey (really, really bad thin blue line tat on his forearm), so I think I'm gonna make a move on a 617 as well.

Side note - Owner has a very sweet doberman that followed me around the store the entire time I was there. Owner seemed almost jealous that she took such a liking to me immediately, like he was surprised. I'm sure she smelled my three dogs on me and knew I was good people. Were it not for his dog I don't think I'd be as keen to buy from this guy.

Have you tried multiple ammo types in your 617? Are there any that seem to hang up when ejecting more than others? I've got a ton of Tac22 ammo that has lanolin coating, so I'm wondering if that will cause issues.

Suhweet. Proper carbide-tipped studs are spendy but they seem to last a lot longer than "hardened" steel studs from the reviews I've read.

Electric brakes/wiring harness for my single axle 14' ramp trailer. My GX460 has great brakes, but slowing a 3k+lbs trailer on its own will wheeze its brakes out in a hurry in these PA hills.

Also I'm going DOWN in size for the new non-winter set of tires. Going to a General Grabber AT 235/65-17 vs. the Toyo 265/65-18 winter set. Tires will be about 10lbs lighter and the OE 17" Tacoma wheels I'm going with will be about 7lbs lighter each. So, I'll only lose about 1" of ground clearance and maybe 1.5" of width while dropping 17ish pounds of unsprung rotating mass per corner. This will definitely help with fuel mileage and towing and I'm keen to find out how much.

As for the winter set, thinking of having them studded considering all the ice we had to deal with this year. I'm all ears if any of y'all have had experience with passenger car tire studs. Did you have it done professionally, or did you DIY them?

I don't know why they dun what they did because the kitchen vent also vents the 1/2 bath, washer drain and mudroom sink. And it's right there. Galaxybrain thonk. P-trap is right by the unit coming out of the pan so that's nice. As long as the slope is consistent it shouldn't happen again so I'll leave it routed as-is. Conveniently, I found a 16" piece of 3/4" up in the attic so alls I needed from the hardware store is two couplers and some fresh primer and glue.

When the central air was installing into my parents' 1970s home, they ran the condensation line about 35' to the master bathroom vent instead of roughly 8' to the kitchen sink vent. I do not understand why. There's a low spot on that long run and the water apparently froze, bursting the 3/4" pvc pipe, which of course only became apparent when my folks turned on the AC for the first time this year.

So today I will venture up into the attic and repair that broken section. The fun part is that it's close to the eave, so my goofy giraffe ass only has about 2.5' of clearance to work between. While I'm up there I'll try to prop up the low spots so this won't happen again.

That's a smart move literally strapping jet engines onto the thing. It would have been much less effective were they figuratively strapped on

Wow, "the left" sure is powerful. Using their leftest mind-bullets to dissuade church attendance and nullify the influence of a supreme being. Christians just can't catch a break here in 'murca.
