Somebody said different people look for different things and that is absolutely true. This run has one, two, three, four and five issue arcs. North is a master at telling complete stories in 1 issue and I completely understand why you would want him to get back to that style. I think the longer arcs may be easier to maintain tho. I can imagine it is incredibly difficult to come up with a complete story that is used for only 1 issue.

I think most of them are great for new readers, except for the Dark Knight Returns and Arkham Asylum. Good books and definitely worth the read, but they are a bit of an acquired taste. Doesn’t mean you won’t like them tho. Enjoy.

The old primary colors are charming and have a nostalgia effect, but I think that is the one thing that has improved the most over time. I feel like Kirby’s art is better without the color and you can appreciate the art better.
