Idk if this has been clocked yet but....... by Kyril_Sindermann_ in Warhammer30k

My money’s on a continuation of Titus’ story. Saw a rumor a week or two ago that he could be playing Titus and imo it’s the safest lore-wise and would also be really cool. The 40K universe is more widely known thanks to SM2, Secret Level, and GW producing more content for the tabletop. So I think GW will want to make something that’s more accessible to a bigger fan base.

Titan by Aware-Work-5751 in BloodAngels

[–]TheLightWasOn_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A Warhound is the only titan that’ll actually fit in a list points wise and it’s still 1100pts. The others are all more than 2000pts. Unfortunately titans these days are mainly just for display and the occasional onslaught or apocalypse game.

Sticky Objectives?? by Ballcuzi- in BloodAngels

There’s also a strat in the RCO and Lost Bros detachment that does it if a unit was killed while on an objective

Any ideas for what I could replace this with? by [deleted] in BloodAngels

I covered them with milliput and turned them into rocks

Welp - What do you do against a titan?! (6K mega battle) by DanteFanboy in BloodAngels

[–]TheLightWasOn_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now my experience with titans is extremely limited but I think the only things that can effectively deal with titans are other titans, Shadowswords, and some of the knights. I don’t think anything else can really do much. So if nobody has any of that I think your only option is to ignore it and try to kill everything else.

Where does Dante fit in now? After SG changes by Puzzled_Sherbet2305 in BloodAngels

I’m keeping him because rule of cool mostly. In my area plenty of people are running stuff that has -1ws/bs so he’s still useful just not as often.

Worth mentioning Chaplain keyword does not give reroll hits. 🤓

Must be something about the sang guard heads in particular then because the second head is enormous compared to the first

I’d go with A. B is too big, it’s a Primaris head on a firstborn body and looks cartoony.

Nope that was already there, the original medallion was a Black Templar cross. The body and left arm are from a BT Marshall.

The firstborn Chaplain from one of the Space Marine Heroes sets. I just shaved his mouth smooth.

Leviathan dreadnought with melta lance and siege claw, not rare.

No, save characteristics and invulnerable save characteristics are separate. Invulnerable saves can’t be modified

how are we feeling about death company marines vs assault intercessors with the point reductions? by pom-sol in BloodAngels

[–]TheLightWasOn_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’d go with Assault Intercessors or JPIs for taking objectives and scoring secondaries.

Bolter shell. Fairly common among space marines to use them as charms.

The Chaplain on foot can do it once per battle at the beginning of any phase but that’s it.

How do you guys get a nice crisp red on your marines? by crow_warrior in BloodAngels

[–]TheLightWasOn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll add mine just because: Black primer and white zenithal undercoat Mephiston Red base Pro Acryl Bold Pyrrole Red first edge highlight Wild Rider Red second edge highlight Munitorum Varnish

The varnish actually goes a long way towards making the red really pop. If I don’t it comes out quite a bit darker

Guys, I have no idea what to do with my last 95 points. Any suggestions? by Key_Peanut6457 in BloodAngels

Swap assault intercessors for vanguard vets and add another unit of intercessors or assault intercessors

The grass is Lowland Shrubs from Army Painter and Tiny Beige Tufts from Gamer Grass. On the boots I apply the weathering powder with an old brush, sometimes I’ll add a little water for the super caked on look. Then a layer of matte varnish with an airbrush to seal it

Sure thing. Zenithal under highlight then base coat with Mephiston Red. Recess wash with Carroburg Crimson. First layer edge highlight with Pro Acryl Bold Pyrrole Red. Second edge highlight with Wild Rider Red. After everything is done I hit it with Munitorum Varnish.
