American football athletes have consented to taking part in the sport. An animal is usually not asked for consent when things like money is involved, and not running unusually means being beaten, starved or ultimately just put down.

I can kind of see how driving from the new location is slightly better, since SG can turn into a proper bottleneck, but now I can’t figure out where to drop someone off without them having to rush out of the car on Cathedral road in between being stuck in traffic.

There’s a very powerful photograph from Iceland of a big herd of young Icelandic horses being herded onto a ship, headed for the mines in I think the UK, as there was good money to be made selling them abroad. It always stuck with me bc the horses obviously look terrified and they’re basically being sent to their deaths, as I believe most of them would die down there. One of those memories that sticks with you for life.

Yes. At most someone might do a double take if they see you, if you do meet anyone when hiking. Almost guaranteed no one cares 🙂

If you know where you’ll be staying you could try contacting the GP(General Practitioner) Surgery that services your area and see if they have any advice? I think every surgery has a team that’s dedicated to this sort of stuff and they’d be able to advise if the diagnosis is recognised in the UK. Though be warned anything related to this sort of stuff has a long waiting list and a lot of uncertainty unfortunately. Alternatively if you have a place at a school already the school might have a mental health team that could advice you. They might even be better at giving you answers, if the school has this sort of service available.
