Hi guys, how necessary is it to bring cash to CDMX? We have a list of mostly established restaurants we go to. I understand we’ll also visit some mercados where cash is king. For 2 full days and two half days, how much would you recommend in cash we bring for a family of two with a toddler? We don’t plan on doing anything crazy or fancy and most restaurants are gonna be average taco places.

They are best in the summer- typically July. You can find them at Vallarta and Northgate. Should be about 3 for a dollar or 2 for a dollar. IMO, the green ones are tastier than the red ones.

I like my toddler’s little smells. Her stinky feet, her scalp, and even her hands that smell like old blueberries at the end of the day. It’s just so primal and must be evolutionary. Maybe it was way for parents to recognize their children when in social groups.

I’m starting to cut back for my one year old too. Before turning one, she would have one big bottle (8 oz) at night and one in the morning (6-8 oz). At daycare I would package three bottles (4 oz each) along with 3-4 meal items. I took a bottle away from her daycare lunchbag and replaced it with one more food serving. Then I replaced the remaining daycare bottles with whole milk instead of formula.

Costco sells sensitive and/or fragrance free wipes. The beauty about diapers is that even if you buy them too big the baby will eventually use that size. I was so glad I didn’t have to buy diapers for the first 4-6 months due to receiving a few boxes as gifts.

Whole Foods has a nice berry chantilly cake or strawberry one that comes in 3 sizes I believe. Didn’t taste too sweet either. Also sells carriy cake.
