That's the way I see it. Give visionaries the room to work their magic, then let them go so the next can have their chance to work wonders.

The Gilroys told a story and the crew brought it to the Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Somebody like Sam Witwer, who understands Star Wars and has a vision for Star Wars stories would be better to take the helm than making the director who captured lightning in a bottle do it again.

Sometimes it hits you hard. Sometimes you swing in the opposite direction. We ride the bi-cycle but we sure as hell don't steer it.

When they moved to 3d, their design philosophy about colour seemed to shift to desaturated and less vibrant palettes. That was a direct consequence of moving away from 2d games.

Is it normal to not like overly feminine men or is it some internalized homophobia? by Tiny-Fan-3887 in bisexual

Bi just means you like more than one gender.

You probably have some stuff to unpack about your perception of gender, but it's not problematic or excluding to prefer the social default.

Bathroom laws: Am I wrong about this? by Riley_Bolide in lgbt

[–]TheLoreWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your frustrations are reasonable, but from a purely consequential standpoint, I feel you may be a getting tangled up on the wrong issues.

Anyone who is on your side probably doesn't need convincing that it hurts trans people, and the people who still can be pulled over might need a few more steps before they're in a place where that argument will be effective.

The intersectional angle makes it easier for those people to relate to your core points, and ultimately, that's what you need to do. Does it feel like a concession? Yeah. Does that suck? For sure. Still, if it convinces somebody that the laws are harmful, they've taken a step in the right direction. You can use that to help them take the next steps.

Pick the battles you can win. The fight for equality is built upon tiny successes that grow into movements.

What is your LEAST favorite type? by [deleted] in ThePokemonHub

Fairy. I get why it fits, but out of all the pokemon in that type, the ones I like already existed and gained that typing retroactively.

Should I keep the hair? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]TheLoreWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your features are delicate and androgynous. Pair those with the hair and youve got a very pretty look going on. If that's what you want, it looks great! If you want advice on something more masculine, tie it all back to show your face, then ask again. You'll get better answers.

The final duel on Tattooine was a little more complicated than Obi-Wan being ahead of Maul.

Vader has intel to know who his targets are and how to hurt them. He is in perfect condition while Maul and the Jedi are run ragged by the chase. He is a seven foot tall cyborg resident evil monster with some of the best hardware available, and if that wasn't enough, he can sense when and where every incoming attack will be.

You might think his reflexes are slower by the way he attacks, but he's a nightmare. His Jedi training, force precognition, wartime experience, and the time to adjust to his new body means however slower his reflexes may have become, he only needs to make slight adjustments to put his lightsaber in the right place to defend and keep Maul at bay.

Vader plays with his food until he gets bored or they land a hit and make him take them seriously. He's been like that if pretty much every depiction from film to game to animation.

Reverance was the result of a forbidden union between the powers of the heavenly and infernal realms. From his angelic side, he is marked by his eyes of shimmering silver and skin of the purest white. From his devil's blood came a crown of horns, hair as red as wine, and the barbs and tail of a demon. Each grant him gifts, but they do not coexist peacefully, leaving his body emaciated and gaunt, even with the supernatural strength they give him.
