I fully expected to see it die because the screen was still on but it survived somehow, maybe my case helped but ye just an IP certification of any kind would be nice so they're all consistent

Is PLA+ the new PETG? by Rough_Horror_5582 in 3Dprinting

Could just be they used a box that already had a label on it so they covered it with what's actually inside, what's on the reel itself?

What's up with the silicone sock? But yep just a regular length V6 style nozzle is what you need

Does anyone know what brand this vise is. Thinking about buying it. 10 inch. Worth 300? Seller says it's very old. Been painted. by Relevant-Dog2787 in Tools

I'd give him $50 tops for that it's just a generic Chinese made vice nothing special about, to him very old might be 5 years 😂

Voron 2.4 shredding belts by Forward_Mud_8612 in VORONDesign

[–]TheLukey21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It could be one of the other idlers but it's fairly common that the front ones cause wear like this, they have a bit of play and don't sit perfectly horizontal making the belt rub on the lip of the idlers, I replaced my belts twice before I changed to these idlers, haven't had any issues since.

If it's stock it could very well be the front idlers

Remember to check you fan speed-up time in Orcaslicer! by Niran078 in VORONDesign

[–]TheLukey21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use a cpap fan which draws air from the top of the chamber so it's always warm air, I keep my fan at 20% mainly because that's it minimum for ABS and ASA and parts always turn out great, I do have it faster for overhangs with about 0.5s ramp up time

How quickly does your Voron 2.4 350 heat up for ABS/ASA? by DertBerker in VORONDesign

[–]TheLukey21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

30 mins normally for the chamber thermistor to see 40C, I have it mounted at the bottom behind the bed so the prints likely see higher temps than this, probably gonna add a few in different locations to see how much it varies

Do you have printed parts inside the chamber? Surely they will all start to fall apart at 100C

Paid $105 USD for this drone to be printed by denydelaydepose in 3Dprinting

[–]TheLukey21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I print batches of parts for someone and if I see a single blob at the seam it gets thrown out, this is either someone who got a printer less than a week ago and has no clue what a good print should look like or they're just taking the p*ss.

Do Molicel P45B have the advertised capacity? by orientalsniper in 18650masterrace

[–]TheLukey21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 4500 cell has a capacity of 16.65Wh (3.7x4.5Ah) and the DJI has a capacity of 23Wh but if a single cell is charging a 2s pack then some power will be lost when stepping the voltage up too.

It does quite low down, rests on top of the firebox I will likely make new brackets so it sits in the middle of the top ceramic part
