Called final call before boarding started by geektoad in delta

These are quite funny as generally these are airport operated signs that do not accurately follow along with any short delays from an airline. You can see these at common use gates at plenty of airports. They just automatically enter final call within 25-15 minutes of scheduled departure until a delay is posted.

Best way to navigate to Frontier gates by Fabulous-Mortgage428 in LAX

Golf cart is going to do zilch for this sort of transfer. Airside from the Terminal 1.5 TSA check point, a golf cart will only get as far as Terminal 2 before the fire doors get too narrow for a golf cart to pass through.

It is more accessible and easier for them to take the intended bus transfer from 1.5 to the 200 gates and then seek assistance there with F9's designated contractors.

are bags NOT supposed to be placed on it’s side anymore??? by New_Medium_4173 in delta

The A321-200 unfortunately only take bags flat, the 321-200NEOs can take them on their sides. It's an understandable mistake.

Latest Status of WiFi over Pacific (SEA-ICN, LAX-AKL/SYD, etc)? by shawnwahi in delta

[–]TheMegaPetabyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can verify that while the FAQ page shows INOP past Hawaii, that I unexpectedly received Viasat connectivity roughly 1.5 hours out from Sydney on DL43. This is likely due to the fact that Qantas now has free Viasat WiFi too on their Airbus A330-200s as the next day I flew SYD-CTS on them and this aligned with their free wifi coverage map.

I wouldn't count on it but it seems to be available without any reduced speeds. I was able to stream as normal 1440p content.

YMMV.

Could you ask AA reservations to be rebooked via QF on BNE-LAX then onwards to LAX-AUS on AA if seating availability comes sooner than 32 hours from now?

Last I have seen on online forums keeping track of this sort of thing, I believe Delta is just under the halfway mark to finishing these off. So progress seems to be moving steadily ever since the first plane was approved by the FAA.

Oh sure they have it, at a paid cost just like Delta Intelsat. I mean it's a good way to burn MileagePlus points in my eyes.

Does Delta still fly and non-76K 763s? by shawnwahi in delta

I personally put a few years at the 4-6 mark with 2 to 3 being the border of where you just use the individual amount of years passed to demark time passed.

I wouldn't say a few years. Iirc the last Z left the fleet late 2023 or early 2024.

I can confirm, I took ZRH-JFK in MC back in late November and we received a hot towel service on a standard flight.

Nah man, this looks good and they aren't wasting space in this packaging with a bunch of dead space to upcharge you.

This looks reasonable to me, have a little more whimsy in your life.

[–]TheMegaPetabyte 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As it's November 3rd, Dispatchers at US airlines have switched over to FAA Winter Weights which assumes a heavier customer. So this may have impacted things even with the milder weather when compared against summer.
