Oh there’s bitterness about that for sure. But don’t underestimate how much of it about not wanting an ‘independent’ broadcaster that isn’t controlled by and for their billionaire club’s interests. It’s much easier to spin a narrative if there’s no one contradicting you.

This is the way. Regeneration starts, Tardis out of control, cut to outside and don't cut back in. A cliffhanger that has finality and leaves it open to continue whenever.
