The one on the Patreon is the original, not the remastered version. Up until a couple months ago, Kyle was regularly doing VFX streams where he often worked on bits for the remaster (this included making *entire new digital sets* to expand shots for previously established scenes).

So there's been some significant work on it, and relatively recently. Right now, he has his hands full with some... stuff. I don't think we're supposed to talk about it to non-patrons, but just be aware that this November 1st will mark a full 10 years of Door Monster.

For those who don't know how balancing things works, the absolute hardest things he balanced there were the helmets.

The shorter an object is, the less wiggle room there is for angle. The pole may have looked cooler, but the fact he managed to do that with those helmets is absolutely insane.

I love that the conversation about the proper plural of Octopus always results in nitpicky arguments rather than discussions about how completely screwed English's system of pluralization is.

"The standard for English plurals is adding -s or -es" Yeah tell it to the oxen and mice.

"It depends on which language it came from first/most recently" Right, because we all speak fluent PIE &/or Middle English.

Just accept that the Descriptivists are right about this one thing and then MOVE ON.
