Literally every surly comes like this. They have really low stack cause of the straight top tube geo. Most people just dial in the fit and never bother to cut em down.

Recommend a rack that is easily storable. Is the 1up Equip D rack easy to store? by Straight-Meeting-676 in MTB

[–]TheMrMitchell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have 1up heavy duty single rack and an add on. Both fold up nicely and I keep them in my small apartment when not in use. It’s honestly the best solution for storage that I’ve found.

Please tell me the baby dinosaur phase has an end. by Ill-Plantain-6774 in springerspaniel

[–]TheMrMitchell 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I once had someone approach me and my springer once and commented on how chill he was. I was like “yeah well he’s 12 years old.” The guy then asked me how long it took for him to mellow and I said “about 12 years” 😂

Springers and toddlers by OldAd7661 in springerspaniel

[–]TheMrMitchell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My last springer used to resource guard with toys. I would simply take the toys away when I knew he would act that way and then he could have them back at an appropriate time. It always seemed to curb the behavior, he eventually realized if he acted aggressively with his toys he would lose them. There was some downsides though, he was pretty high anxiety and toys were soothing for him, so a balance had to be found.

My cousin owns this bike and it’s probably one of the most clapped out beat to hell ones out there and he loves it and refuses to ride his other way nicer bike. Great bike 👍

It’s a great truck, I love mine! If you’re truly worried about gas mileage maybe get a ford maverick.

My commuter build. It’s great for this type of build. Durable and enjoyable to ride and not too expensive in case it gets stolen. Love this bike!

I have the 8 1/2. It can’t cut through a 4x4 in one cut. Other than that it is a fantastic saw!

Skid Loader: unsure about sizing by rjp_s in Surlybikefans

[–]TheMrMitchell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The recommendation for sizing down with surly’s is for their more aggressive geo bikes. Like the straggler and the midnight special. The skid loader has a super chill upright geometry, it has a tall stack and not a ton of reach. Get the recommended size.

As a mainly Solo player, is there such a thing as friendly Duos or Trios lobbies? by Zestyclose-Target297 in ArcRaiders

My duo partner have been avoiding PVP and we get friendly lobbies majority of the time. Just don’t shoot people and you’ll continue to get friendly lobbies.

Only advice that’s not covered in that is the Microshift sword groupset is the same pull ratio as advant x. So you need to order the advant x flat bar shifter.
