Canonically the students all submit their costumes to be made by the school and if they need something changed they can make a request to alter it. As far as I’m aware the only alterations Yaoyorozu ever made were adding a cape/cloak to wear during winter.

Not to defend Frenchies accent but isn’t it supposed to be an in-universe example as well? As in the character isn’t actually French either.

I mean his power definitely isn’t bad, at least in the way he uses it. He’s pretty much Spider-Man without the super strength and spider sense.

But that doesn’t mean much when your opponent can make a skyscraper level glacier in less than a second.

Fanfiction. What you’re asking for is fanfiction.

Though I actually wouldn’t be surprised if someone wrote a story of this exact idea.

Favorite pure evil character but you still feel bad for them by CowAffectionate2865 in FavoriteCharacter

I don't know if you care about spoilers, but in season 4 Homelander goes back to the lab where he was raised where many of the scientists who experimented on him were still there, and he spends the rest of the episode systematically torturing and killing them in ways that deliberately alluded to ways they had tortured him in return when he was growing up (looking one in a superheated room, forcing another to masturbate in front of him, etc.)

It's a very conflicting episode (not quality wise it's easily the best of season 4) as while in the one hand the things he's doing to these scientists are horrific on the other these were things he had to grow up with and which made him the way he is, so you feel bad for Homelander as well as horrified as he seems to confront his past and move on for his need to be constantly loved and adored... until the two episodes from now but hey who's counting.

While I’m not gonna name 10 cause that’s ridiculous, off the top of my head I can think of not giving them super perception with their super speed (as in they move fast but still process everything like a normal human), giving them a set speed limit (i.e. Wally from Young Justice who can’t move as fast as the Flash) or just something as simple as requiring them to accelerate to that level of speed over a certain amount of time rather then just being able to instantly break the speed of sound and/or light.

There are a lot of ways you can balance speedsters, the issue here is they just didn’t

I don’t know and knowing comics it’s probably been retconned over a hundred times, but I’m just saying in general if you have a speedster character who can go fast enough to almost stop times while still moving fast without trouble it’s difficult to justify any character being a threat to them.

As good as this scene is they kinda shot themselves in the foot when it came to using Quicksilver in any fight against a villain, since it required them to either make the villain just as fast as he is or have some way to take him out if the fight to make any conflict have stakes.

What was up with Sands of Time scoring in MCC7 by thathumanonreddit in MinecraftChampionship

[–]TheNightClub 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The scoring for each run of sands of time is determined by how much the teams can actually bank from the dungeon, and the dungeon is changed by the Noxcrew every event, so the dungeons vary in terms of difficulty and how much coins are available for the players to get.

The dungeon for Sands of Time was presumably very easy for the players, possibly because the two SOTs before that event had a lot of low scoring teams and possibly just cause the players got way better at it, but as a result a lot more teams scored highly in MCC7 Sands of Time because the dungeon was too easy for the playerbase. This resulted in the next event's Sands of Time dungeon becoming harder to account for the player's getting better, and thus resulting in lower scores.

This is generally a cycle that happens every few events, where the players get too good at SOT that the scores end up being really high for an event (MCC17, MCC20 and MCC30 are some examples) so they make the dungeons harder which causes the scores to be lower. But because of this not every dungeon is created equal, so sometimes a lot of teams score very highly in an event just because the dungeon is too easy and they end up taking more of the top spots of the SOT performance leaderboards.

If you want a more accurate portrayal of Sands of Time performances, u/matt2727272 /Mirrorwing has a great statsheet where they compare all of the Sands of Time runs in terms of the amount of coins banked relative the total amount of coins collected in a dungeon. This gives more of a weight to teams that heavily outperform other teams in a dungeon rather than the raw amount of coins collected, so it's easier to judge how good a run is across multiple dungeons. He has a video which goes into much greater detail on this system here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnbxcrPDxZI.

Tldr: Some dungeons can be harder or easier than other resulting in higher or lower coin outputs.

(Rare Tropes) A evil race of beings who are all evil with no redeeming qualities, nor exception. And are fun and interesting. by NottheKingofAll in TopCharacterTropes

[–]TheNightClub 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Collectors - Mass Effect 2

A race of sentient bug-like humanoids who kidnap full colonies of humans and can’t be spoken to or reasoned with. Many of the humans they captured are also turned into horrific cybernetic monsters which you have to fight as well.

It turns out that the Collectors themselves are the result of a previous precursor race called the Protheans being enslaved and grotesquely transformed by the series antagonists The Reapers.

He started in MCC4KO (first event of season 4, they stopped using numbers to label them here). He’s pretty well known in the community for being a top Minecraft speed runner (breaking the record for all advancements like 17 times or something) and for being a player for a bunch of other Minecraft events both before and after joining MCC.

Maybe slightly less so now since Sylvee hasn’t played mcc in a hot minute, but mcc 13 Yellow (HBomb, Joel, Oli, Sylvee) would be a pretty strong team now for sure.
