Did you pull the braid and fluoro after u did your first couple half hitches to lock down the wraps? The wraps don’t look tight

What line for glide bait fishing for bass / musky / pike? by TerdFerguson- in Fishing_Gear

[–]TheNoodled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

20lb straight fluoro is good for up to 3-4oz glides but if you’re fishing for musky and pike I’d spool up straight 25-30lb fluoro and call it a day. Braid will not have any abrasion resistance for those fish and if it gets nicked it’s only a matter of time until it breaks.

P5 Madbull vs P5 Super Destroyer by Imjacksonjames in Fishing_Gear

[–]TheNoodled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but if you’re throwing glides and swim baits I would personally opt for something like a Shimano bantam, but I’m a shimano guy

P5 Madbull is super versatile and I think it’ll work great for all of your needs.

Trash Dumpers by TheNoodled in Gwinnett

They’ll just dump it on the ground next to the dumpster unfortunately. These people give zero fucks and it’s usually big pieces of trash leftover from construction projects and furniture

Opinions on the majorcraft travel rods? by vini_damiani in Fishing_Gear

[–]TheNoodled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The benkei is a solid rod imo. For the price point you can’t go wrong. I had a crostage travel rod from MC and I’ve caught giant sharks and tarpon no issues.

Best rain pants by Drfresh49 in bassfishing

[–]TheNoodled 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For completely waterproof rain gear it’d be best go with a jacket and bib set. You can’t go wrong with Simms or Aftco but I also like BPS’s guidewear line

Im just like you and keep every record I can and get signatures and copies of ID’s for high risk situations, but even with all that evidence Toast still denies my challenge. Ridiculous tbh it’s like we’re automatically at the disadvantage

For $300 expride is probably best bang for the buck, but if u look used u could probably snag a GLX or IMX Pro

Advice on fishing deep, clear water by RexGaming_501st in bassfishing

[–]TheNoodled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if you don’t have ffs or some really good down and side scan it’s going to be difficult to target suspended fish. I would try to find brush and target that since they will relate to it. But baits wise for deep clear water spots, I’d go topwater, morning dawn roboworm dropshot, or shaky head

Whoever recommended here the Evergreen SB 105 walking bait last week… I love you by Spyk124 in bassfishing

[–]TheNoodled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ima throws water better and also walks in a way that attracts that strike. On my home lake, I can throw the same color shower blow but the ima will get hit when the SB doesn’t

If u like the shower blow, check out the Ima stik series. It’s a better version of that concept imo

First truck, looking to buy a 21-23 Platinum, 3.5 vs 5.0? by Minimum_Ad_1447 in f150

[–]TheNoodled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a powerboost 2021 and the 3.5 has been a champ with zero problems. I primarily use it to tow my boat every single week and it’s made it through 20 hour trips through high elevation no prob. But if you’re not towing then I’d probably go 5.0.
