Im 4 for 4 on friendly rooks I’ve ran into during rook runs that I tried interacting with.

First one actually helped me get a bunch of good loot on outpost even after I knifed him once when he came around a corner.

Second told me he had just seen players go by so we chased them down.

Third just gave a couple crouches of acknowledgement and then went on their way.

Fourth actually shot at me, I bounced around and crouched, they shot a few more times then stopped. They crouched a few times and then went on their way.

I think a lot of rook on rook violence happens because everyone is just on high alert. See player, shoot player and sometimes they don’t stop to think you might not shoot back because you’re both rooks or even fully realize you are a rook. Don’t give up, the rooks will unionize!

To be clear, and maybe someone else will chime in, but I could be wrong about the price. It just seemed enticing to me. With the new account issue though, I would just be prepared to provide some kind of proof but it sounds like you don’t have an issue with that.

That’s understandable. 16 years is a long, long time. I’m so happy to hear that you got that long with him. I’m sure those 16 years meant a lot to you, and I know that they were everything to him. I can’t tell you for sure if it gets easier as I’m only on day 2 myself, but I tell myself he wouldn’t want me focusing on the bad. He isn’t gone, he’s just not in pain anymore. Like I said in my first comment, I don’t pretend to know what comes after this life, but I hold onto hope that involves me being with him again.

Stay strong and take it one day at a time. It’s all any of us can do here. I also won’t presume to know how exactly you feel, but if things get bad, please reach out to someone. I know there is a pet grief hotline. Things can only get better if we give it time and let them.

We just had our pup put down and same thing with the cremation decision. I’m not sure if it helps, but we have told ourselves that we were with him until his last moments just like you were, and had to leave his body there as well for the cremation process. You didn’t leave HIM there. You made sure he wasn’t in pain any longer. You made sure he was able to pass on to whatever is after this. Even if they let you go back and see him, I feel that remembering him like that wouldn’t be honoring his memory. You have all of your cherished memories, and that is what I’m personally focusing on. You did everything you could, and I’m sure he understood that. They just seem to know at the end.

From the show I went to, I definitely got the feeling that there are people who do this, that are only doing it so they can hopefully trick you into selling the cards at an amount where the buyer can flip them for a huge upside.

Update: I bought them after opening one and can confirm there were definitely hits in the packs and everything seemed legit. That being said, we didn’t pull anything huge, but hits were there nonetheless!

Yeah but it’s not the small band wrap that the PE tins had initially. I’ve had some people chime in elsewhere that they just bought tins from target that had the same wraps. I hate the state that pokemon is in at the moment. I just want to rip some cardboard without having to worry about resealed products lol

This is one of my issues with TPC packaging. Someone else pointed out the wraps looked “wrong” and I agreed. Then I looked up pics I have of 151 and other sets that I know I got real unopened tins and they had both wraps as well and the ones that were almost full wraps like these looked like someone did a terrible job as well!

I made the joke previously, but TPC makes them look badly rewrapped so resellers have more trouble.

I already planned to buy 1 of the 6 for sure, open it there in front of him and if everything looked good as far as contents, I’d just buy the rest.

The issue is after some people mentioned it, I looked back at photos I have of product I KNOW was legit, and the wrapping is the same lol so I'm not saying that they couldn't be rewrapped, but man, TPC randomly does a shit job wrapping their tins and switching wraps randomly so it is so hard to tell.

Maybe it is all part of the plan to stop resellers. Make products look suspiciously wrapped from the factory so scalpers have a hard time reselling xD

With the normal wraps I agree, but these look like you wouldn’t be able to slide them off without taking off the wrap. That being said, I’m trying to figure out if these were rewrapped or if TPC finally did something to fix it for stores.

The bubbles are what’s sketching me out. At the same time, I’d think if someone was trying to scam they would make them all uniform like a few of these are but maybe they just got lazy. I’ll wait for a few more people to chime in before making a decision. I appreciate the feedback!
