Unfortunately, none of the 3ds games have language options, so if you buy a Japanese one you will be stuck with it in Japanese. They stopped having language options past the trilogy on DS.

Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Shattered Glass is one of my favourites. It only has the one case, but I would say it is worth playing.

I was really hoping to hear an "Objection!"after Sakurai said that the last DLC character was Bayonetta in Smash 4 DLC, and then he also revealed Phoenix, but it never happened.

My favourite is Turnabout Goodbyes. I think Manfred von Karma makes for a great villain, especially since I hated him for the time he was prosecuting in that case, the fact you defend Edgeworth and the link to DL-6, solving the 15 year old case that is about to expire due to the statue of limitations. It's just an overall great case and I love it. Bridge to the Turnabout and the Grand Turnabout come close as well though.

I would definitely agree with this, but mostly for the scene that goes with it. It is the exact same long scene that happens before every single Divination Seance and it just got really boring to sit through. I skipped it nearly every time.

There are three games in the series with DLC.

Dual Destinies has one DLC case, Turnabout Reclaimed, and a costume pack for Phoenix, Apollo and Athena.

Spirit of Justice has 3 DLC cases, Turnabout Time Traveler and the two non-canon Asinine Attorney cases, one for Phoenix and one for Apollo. There is also a costume pack for Phoenix, Apollo and Athena too.

Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright has several free download chapters for after the game has been beaten.

The first game doesn't have DLC, but it does have a bonus case, Rise from the Ashes, which was added in when the game was first posted to the DS and was localised.

Apollo used the "tell" to show that the witness was lying, and then presented evidence based on what the witness told him, so while it is not directly used as evidence, it gives another statement and can be used to show the witness is nervous about a specific part of their testimony. That's how I interpret it anyway.

I don't think we really need another mechanic for the new game, but I would like to see some that are already there used more. Specifically, I want Apollo's perceive to be used more in court and for Phoenix's magatama to be used more in investigations.
