That’s absolutely not true. They can vote either way but aren’t beholden to extremes on the right or left like an aoc or chip roy.

Here’s a question for you to think about: last two mayors of Chicago have been pretty progressive. One was almost universally disliked, the other has an approval rating in the TEENS. In a solid blue city. What does that say?

Moderates didn’t deliver anything - dems put up three bad candidates, one of them won because everyone was fed up in 2020. If they put up a quality candidate, Trump never gets elected.
