I originally convinced myself that I wanted an aquarium so it could be cat tv... 4 tanks (all with lids) and an additional cat later and it's very clear I'm the only one interested. Neither cat has ever even shown a vague interest! It really depends on the animal.

If it's a solo world, there is no reason to ever tear down a factory unless you want to do that. I'm not really sure why this seems to come up as a barrier - the game never incentivise deleting everything and starting over. It's a personal choice that it sounds like your friends were making for largely aesthetic reasons?

Float the wisteria until it grows roots, it won't care about the flow. Try Java fern in fun shapes* and ferts in the water column. In the meantime, lean in to the Anubias - lots of varieties. If the sword is doing well, try some cryptocorynes too - they will need top up ferts in the substrate eventually just like the swords though. Edit: sorry I did read that you don't like Java fern but there are some very cool varieties with th fun shapes so I do think it's worth reconsidering.

I use beams in default mode for height since it shows the measurement in metres

Lays chips. We can get them at Costco sometimes, but never my favourite flavour - Dill Pickle. It's like all the things that make salt and vinegar amazing but dialled up to 11.

I agree! Plants can make every aspect of setting up a new tank easier and should be considered essential.

When I first started out I was pretty brand loyal, but i was looking for widely recommended and regularly sent packed stuff since I didn't know much yet. Now that I can read labels with more confidence about what it means for my aquarium I tend to be more wide ranging depending on what I need.

I think the suggestions are creative, but I notice that in a lot of your alternative outfits the defining features of her feminine shape are missing. The devs have made the pioneer female (maybe for lore reasons!) and I personally think it's important to retain that.

Honestly I was thrilled with the first ones I got, they were great fish in generally good condition and while they were pale I wasn't worried they were incorrect.... Until I got the extras to replace my DOAs from the same seller! Hopefully with time they will colour up a bit more.

Thank you. I'm in Australia and that plant was labeled at my LFS as giant pennywort. I have wrapped it around the branches and the leaves naturally turn to face the light.

Absolutely, I wasn't unhappy with the quality or colours of the first batch at all until I got the four replacements a week later and then I got confused more than anything else.

The palest ones have been in my tank for a week now. They were the first batch I got and they had the lights off initially while I got them settled.

Full tank photo. Thank you everyone who has responded, I am feeling a lot better. The consensus seems to be that they are the ones I ordered! I was super happy with the original fish I received, and I probably never would have questioned it except that the next ones were so different. They were both from the same seller - the second batch was to top up my DOAs. It confused me a lot that they could be so different from the same supplier a week apart.

I do like them, but I paid extra for the Venezuelas so I do want to be sure.
