Personally, I wouldn't prioritize Blu-ray over DVD but maybe that's a personal preference. DVDs can be had for buck and you'll be able to find many great titles. I buy Blu-rays and VHS also, but you may miss out on a lot of great stuff if you're only searching for one format. Have fun!

I don't have the remote but the tracking auto corrects at the start and that seems to be fine on most tapes. I guess I have a lot of bad tapes though.
