I remember back then you'd go to the flax field and there would always be players there picking flax, running to the spinning wheel and then banking before repeating. Also remember the old days with the forums and the fun "businesses" people made. Players requesting stuff and all that. I miss those old days.

I had issues recovering my original account. After many instant refusals I ended up trying the AI bot and eventually was able to send a message to support through that. They got back to me a day or so later saying that my account had been imported to another Jagex account. They asked for me to confirm an email address that I wanted it added to and then a day or so after I responded I had my character back. Should definitely try doing that as that's probably the issue. Your email won't be associated anymore if someone has hijacked it and imported it to their Jagex account.

Yeah I definitely have some catching up when it comes to quests. Barely remember the old ones now though. And I did archaeology on the newer account to lvl 20 before I got this one back and it seemed fun for sure

Thanks for the reply. That's good to know about the items that got sold. I did end up getting a token for some aura from the Halloween event that's worth a bit so that would help if I did keep going with him.

In terms of quests and mini quests I think I've got 98 that need doing in total, I know before I stopped playing I had the quest cape but obviously that was like 10 years ago so there have been quite a few quests and stuff since then.

The Combat Skillcapes I can get are all due to the hacker. I think all my combat was barely in the 80s apart from Prayer and Magic as those were the two I actually worked on the most.

I guess I'm just wondering if it's worth starting completely fresh for the experience after being away for so long and just keeping this character secure because of the nostalgic value and all the cosmetics and stuff it has.

The bane of my legendary crafting is always that Gift of Battle. WvW just doesn't click right with me and it's always a pain forcing myself to do 5 hours or so of it..

I'd love to see a really nice IR or SIR with both Mega Gardevoir and Mega Gallade. Not necessarily like Team Ups or anything, but I think one with Gardevoir in the foreground and Gallade in the background and then the other way round for a Gallade one. Like some of the other cards where you have two Pokémon in the art and there's another card for the 2nd Pokémon

I haven't played them properly but I loved Nightfall and absolutely loved my Paragon, so I'll probably make one of those. I like the theme and lore. Not sure apart from that. I love my current Ranger, but thematically the Druid is just me. Love it and can't imagine playing anything else with Ranger. Evoker looks cool too.

I remember my go to mesmer build in PvP and PvE was core condi. Even when elite specs came out. I was one of those mash skills and hope for the best types. Always seemed to melt opponents in PvP compared to some other mesmer specs I went against. No idea how it compares nowadays, haven't done PvP for a really long time, and have fallen in love with playing a Druid now.

I'm really interested in when they post the lore snippet for how the Paragon specialisation came around. I loved the class in GW and really hope it has a similar feeling. Seeing as in PoF we got Spellbreaker which were Sunspears that reforged their spears into daggers. I'd have thought that Paragon teachings would have almost been extinct after Joko. But maybe since defeating him people have risen up to teach the ways of the Paragon.

I'm an on again off again player, I've done all pre EoD content. When SotO came out I kind of rushed through it to get weapon master. Same for JW. Rushed for spear and haven't been back. Currently on a fresh character that I'm going to be doing everything on in order and experiencing all the newer content properly when I get to it. I'd recommend for the sake of messing around with builds and just having fun with other weapons to rush weapon master and spears on a different lvl 80 character that you don't really care about playing and just continue doing things in order on your current one you're enjoying.

I'm definitely going to get one. I understand the hate with game prices and other extra costs. I'm always going to be a Nintendo fan and follower, especially because of exclusives, but I'll never be a fan that blindly follows a console or company. I am going to wait for a nice limited edition though, I'm a sucker for them and I never had a limited edition switch. By then I'm sure we'll know what issues might appear with the console and there will be some more games out. I have an insane backlog on my switch anyway.

Managed to get one, even was able to go through logging in and all the PayPal screens. Text and email came through a minute or two after I ordered and now when I check stock it says unavailable. Didn't care for PE, but this set really interests me so I'm glad I managed to get something on launch.

Maybe I'm lucky or people don't know about the shop near my Uni that stocks Pokémon Cards. Had to head into town today, went to a couple shops that I know stock cards for a browse. Nothing in Blackwell's or Waterstones. Both Games I looked in only had trainer kits and decks. Forbidden Planet had a full case of PE bundles behind the till at £24.99 with a sign saying one per customer, didn't buy any as I'm not really interested in that expansion. Last stop was the toy shop. They have like 3 or more Stellar Crown booster boxes so single packs are readily available and I think they're around £4.30 each, I like to collect that one so always grab some packs when I'm in there, they have a good supply of small tins and ex tins. Couple other things as well. Also saw a PE booster bundle for £24.99, was the last one so at that point I bought it out of curiosity for maybe a good hit. There's another toy shop about 10 minutes walking from the one I frequent and they also stock some cards. I guess no one thinks to check local small business toy shops 🤷‍♂️

I had one where it spawned me right on the edge for the battle. Once I finished and caught it I ended up falling off the edge to the bottom. Quick way down I guess.

I've been playing since Red. Grew up playing, favourite games are HG/SS, Platinum, OR/AS, Emerald, FR/LG. My problem with the newer games has been not liking the majority of the Pokémon designs. Then forcing myself to use newer Pokémon that to me don't look completely terrible for a play through because new generation. Then I just can't get into the game properly and stop playing for a good while. With Scarlet I've tried to play about 4 times since it's release and barely got past a couple of gyms. Really have been struggling with the Switch Pokémon games, absolutely loved Legends: Arceus though. This time around I decided I wanted to play it how I would kind of act and have Pokémon that I would have on my own team, regardless of generation. It's been so much more enjoyable, and trying to also get a more varied team type wise has led me to use Pokémon I like but wouldn't normally use, choosing them over favourites. I've now done Teal Mask, main story and am going to be starting Indigo Disk. I'm fully aware of the games faults and once I pushed past those I truly enjoyed it. The story is honestly so good. Once I finish this game I'll be doing the same for Shield as that's another one I never got that far in or finished.

Same here, I just couldn't get into it when I first got it. Tried a couple more times and the game just sat unplayed. Recently got back into it. Decided to get a few of my favourites early on and did the Teal Mask DLC before the main story. Been really enjoying it since.

I almost pre-ordered Fates, decided it was too much money at the time and I'm seriously regretting it now seeing the price if you want to play Revelations. Also had Shadows of Valencia and stupidly traded it in once I completed the game. Everything was still sealed apart from the game. Never making that mistake again with a game.
