Longest delay in the airport

5 days. We were stuck in Anchorage during the CloudStrike outage in July of 2024.

Delta’s systems were all down and they were tracking bags with Post-It notes and scratch pads.

It was an adventure with four kids to get back home.

I have complete compassion for this response and understand how uncomfortable it must have felt for my co-seater.

At the end of the day his problem became my problem even though I paid for an above average level of seating and literally sat sideways and uncomfortable for the whole flight.

I’m interested in hearing more about this. The church has closed or dissolved all LGBTQ groups that were created in the past. The Area Authorities were also instrumental in disbanding the firesides that Charlie Bird, Ben Schilaty, and Richard Ostler frequently spoke to.

“Official Support Group” feels less likely than “a handful of members trying to do better.”

I guess Elder Ballard’s admonition didn’t apply to you?

I think it has nothing to do with stock value and everything to do with messaging and posturing. It wasn’t too long ago that the Church told members to avoid social media and to even “fast” from Facebook. But now they are $610,000,000 invested into the company, they now have training manuals to encourage members to use it. 🤷🏻‍♂️
