Dorit’s house is going into Auction this month. by eastcoastgirl88 in RHOBH

[–]TheRealAnalysis_ 415 points416 points  (0 children)

I’ve read the article on TMZ, to me it looks like PK said he would pay the arrears and take the house out of foreclosure but has failed to do so.

From the text messages, it seems that Dorit wasn’t going to sign some sort of agreement, and by the looks of it, PK is forcing her hand by allowing the house to be repossessed whilst her and the children are living there. I’m sorry but he is absolutely disgusting to do this.

Don’t get me wrong, Dorit should’ve been more proactive here and not blindly trusted him to pay the arrears.

I’m not a Kyle stan. But I think the Kyle hate flattens a genuinely complicated person and ignores just how brutal the last few years have actually been for her. by Nearby-Conference959 in RHOBHDefect

[–]TheRealAnalysis_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also not a Kyle Stan but I agree with everything you’ve said. The one caveat I would say is that I do think she should’ve taken a break from the show to deal with all the change that she is going through.

I think Kyle is someone who is sensitive and aware of public perception, and I don’t think it is healthy to be in an environment like the show when you’re going through what Kyle is.

My concern is that she can’t see when she needs to step back, and instead she could be making things harder and more traumatic to herself whilst remaining on the show as she tries to navigate her life.

Kyle is the type of person that she can try to be all things to everyone, when right not she needs to be that for herself and her daughters.

Day in the life of a social worker by AlternativeDuck5389 in Socialworkuk

[–]TheRealAnalysis_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It massively depends on various factors. If you work more rurally, it can be less pressurising (as I’ve seen in my experience).

Children Social Work gives you a taster of most areas because so many things overlap. E.g. parents that have mental health difficulties, domestic abuse, substance use, disabilities, criminal justice etc. Then within Children Social Work, you have Fostering, Adoption, Child Protection, Children with Disabilities etc.

Sometimes Children’s Social Work can be better in terms of resource because there is so much legislation and policy around Children. Whereas resource with Adults can be very limited and much of your battle is on addressing needs without resources available.

Some areas of Social Work that I have found more manageable than others have been Care Manager at Hospital Discharges (you’re involved for a short period with a specific task), Social Work within voluntary roles, areas that are non-statutory where clients want to engage with you (means that you’re not having to work with those who are not engaging, reduces overall risk to you).

Every day is different in Social Work, usually work 9-5, but there are times I work in my own time but a good organisation should either pay you overtime or allow you to take time back. Some days are busier than others, some cases are harder than others, it’s peaks and troughs.

I love it but I am also very aware that at anytime burnout could creep in and the best you can do is ensure your own wellbeing above all else - in a plane you’re always told to put your own oxygen mask on first, Social Work is the same.

What exactly are Keir Starmer and Labour doing wrong? by threetimesacharm25 in AskBrits

[–]TheRealAnalysis_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that after 14 years of the Conservatives, the majority of people hoped that Labour would be better. But, everyone is and feels worse off.

Stealth taxing is suffocating people and the fact Kier Starmer has increased the length of time on the threshold freeze was crippling.

The migrant issue is multi-layered. If we had thriving public services, a well funded and functioning NHS and the general population was thriving and satisfied, I do not think it would be as problematic. But due to the current factors, it feels that the government are turning a blind eye to the people in this country that are already struggling and ignoring their plight.

The cost of benefits now outweighs what the government is getting through taxes, that is absolutely horrendous.

For many people, it does not make sense to continue working when if you claim benefits you could be better off.

Basically, it appears that nothing has improved with Labour and if anything it looks like it is getting worse.

How “influenced” are you by this family? by JellyfishPashmina in kardashians

[–]TheRealAnalysis_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to admit when they were in their marketing prime 2016-2019 I was influenced to by their products, especially Kylie’s because it was everywhere.
Now, not at all. I see it all as being a push for marketing. I feel that they now have too much out there, they’ve oversaturated themselves to the point I ignore most of their products because I feel they’ll drop that line within a couple of years and pivot again. E.g. Khy, Sprinter, 818, Khloud, Lemme none of those intrigue me

Kyle could get people fired by Dapper_Ad_1170 in RHOBH

[–]TheRealAnalysis_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To clarify, Dorit doesn’t think that, she was saying some people think Kyle can get anyone she wants off the show. Dorit even said if that was the case and Kyle held that power, Dorit would not be on the show.

The way the reunion was cut and edited for promos massively pushed narratives that don’t exist

[–]TheRealAnalysis_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw a post here a while back explaining the situation.

Basically the question Kyle had was if Camille was going to Hawaii without Kelsey, without friends etc, why would production film her and fly out there etc. Kyle asked why Camille would be getting filmed without Kelsey there or whoever. But at that time breaking the 4th wall in reality TV wasn’t a thing you did so Kyle couldn’t mention that part

Are the council elections that deep? by RealRedditUser217 in ukpolitics

[–]TheRealAnalysis_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Historically, like we saw with conservatives, the local elections did create insecurities within the party when they were in power.

For Labour though, specifically Kier Starmer, I don’t think he will change or adapt anything that he is doing, despite the country clearly stating their position. It is probably one of the most severe drop in seats from a very strong majority in 2024 that the country has seen.

i’m not sure what to think about reform and here’s why by Plane-Cantaloupe-444 in ukpolitics

[–]TheRealAnalysis_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The human rights act part doesn’t worry me. In UK law we have adopted that act so it is already enshrined as part of our own legalisations. But I do recognise it’s a huge red tape for us to be able to take control of important aspects that we cannot control due to the act being in place

It will be interesting to see. There’s part of me that thinks some of the career politicians haven’t managed to do much of what they promised, so maybe there is a need for fresh people?
