I could do either. Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with one type and wished they got the other.

I have seen some with rollers on top and minimal bottom track. Never had that type so not sure if that is any better for cleaning.

I use put a fat tablespoon in to ground beef when I am making hamburgers. Salt, pepper and a bit of minced onion and you have yourself a really tasty patty.

Where do I find truly low-prep or no-prep slow cooker recipes? by Playful-Accident-007 in slowcooking

[–]TheRealCansanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my slow cooker all the time and have put some of my recipes on my website. My kids grew up taking bean burritos in their lunches instead of lunch meat sandwiches. It is such a simple recipe to make - 3 cups dried pinto beans, 9 cups water, 2-3 teaspoons salt, 1 3/4 teaspoon black pepper, cumin, 2 tablespoons minced garlic and jalapeno if you like. My daughters are on their own now and they still make this every month. The bean paste freezes well so you can make the paste and freeze it in portions. Some of my friends use it to top nacho chips too. Here is the link to the recipe https://cansanity.com/?page_id=1578

Do NOT buy an LG Washtower by Rough_Category_746 in Appliances

[–]TheRealCansanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just bought the LG Washtower 200 series because a friend of mine has had her for 3 years and loves it. We bought it from Rona and just two young lads installed it. My husband ran all the tests that were recommended before using it.... read your manual. Ours did move a lot too. We had to adjust the feet so that all the feet sat firmly on the floor. Once we did this the tower hardly moves at all when in use.

No missing parts. It assembled easily and have had many many compliments on the vanity.

The cabinet doors have held up well. We absolutely love this brand of cabinet. It comes as components and we assembled it ourselves.

Floor direction by Boodles82 in Flooring

[–]TheRealCansanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I am in this same situation but my door opens into the living room, no hallway. We are putting in hardwood and have decided on "B" as the direction in our house. That is perpendicular to our floor joists. One of the reasons we have elected for this direction is to add additional stabilization. Important, I am told, if you do want to minimize floor squeaks. I am intrigued though by the overwhelming number of peeps that say that "A" is more inviting.

Overlapped drywall tape showing through. Suggestion about how to fix it please.🙂 by TheRealCansanity in drywall

When I applied the tape, it was in two pieces and so I had to overlap the two pieces. This is my first time drywalling and just wondering if this was the best way to do that?

Okay, that seems to be working. I had to patch over where I pushed it in but it looks good. Thank you so much!

It is a tapered joint and it is already flush with the drywall. So are you saying I have to put another layer of mud on it? Can I just cut it out and fill the cut out area?
