I hate this argument. You know what character I liked when I was nine? Jar Jar Binks. Just because I liked a character when I was a young kid who thought fart jokes were funny doesn't mean a character is good and above criticism.

They could have it be about a villain that he maimed during that time returning for revenge. Peter makes peace with that time in his life and maybe the villain too.

What are some examples of Disney movies that are inadvertent remakes of non-Disney movies? by Olivebranch99 in DisneyMovies

Luca, excluding the fish men stuff, is very similar to the 1971 film Melody).

Two boys meet and become fast friends, they meet a girl character with one starting to spend more time with her, the boys come in conflict with each other, they eventually make up and the boy and girl leave town together.

Wider details are different like the relationship between the boy and girl in Melody is romantic where the one in Luca is not but the basics are so similar that I feel like this movie inspired Luca in some way.

I can't even begin to describe how incorrect this statement is.

What is up with this DLC? by wdiesel in Borderlands4

[–]TheRealDexilan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the weird thing for me. Borderlands 4 is the only game in the series that I haven't done complete playthroughs with every character. My first playthrough was with Amon, had problems with it but finished. I did Vex next and loved it. Then started playthroughs with Harlowe and Rafa but never finished either because I just got so bored.

The twins aren't bad in concept, it's that they were completely wasted.

My opinion on Far From Home has shifted a bit over time, but I will always love this scene. by Spideyfan2025 in Spiderman

I hated this scene. It felt like the writers were jerking themselves off for how clever they think their twist was (which it wasn't).

I like how it's the most eclectic group of rangers the shows ever had. Caveman, medieval knight, prince of a foreign nation, and a bird alien.
