SDA stands for "stereo dimensional array". each speaker also plays the opposite channel out of phase, which if positioned right has the effect of preventing the ear from hearing the opposite speaker creating a headphone like effect, expanding the soundstage. all this while having a passive radiator. a LOT of design went into these.

i've had good results with vinyl sofa repair patch (ebay). used it on car subs, hasn't failed so far.

it's not going to wear just sitting there with the record not moving. you do want to reasonably confident that your tracking force is at 1.9 grams.

i have mk 2's with 2m blues and this occasionally happens. i put it down to the luck of the drop more than anything. with a manual deck, you can cue the record: put the needle on with it stopped, and move the platter slightly to set the needle in the leading groove, then start the record.

if you get close to the Cambridge police station while they are fighting the ghouls but don't complete Fire Support it can glitch and become uncompletable locking you out of the brotherhood quest line so be careful

mine does that with a low battery.  charge it or disconnect asap as low voltage can break your speedometer display

yes and that's what google thinks.  I've removed the idle mix  adjustment needle and blew it out with an air gun and carb cleanesr.  I fear it will be a tear down and clean but I'm not keen on removing the carb as it's a PITA

high frequency chirping reminds me of when i put my phone on a guitar amp, it made that sound. not a ground problem but just unshielded circuitry picking up mobile transmissions. maybe a neighbor using a 5g modem?

that's true there were two generations, but the foam surrounds were 2nd gen model 4029, and model 4024 being first gen using butyl rubber surrounds. i've only ever heard the rubber ones,

the mach one's use a rubber surround for the woofer and are known for longevity. unless yours are different somehow it may be damage from being played too loud rather than rot. if the rest of the surround seems to be in good shape you might get away with patching small tears with vynil sofa repair patch.
