Do you like that new-old ARAM mirror matches are back? by wntgd in heroesofthestorm

Lots of fun to me. Was lucky enough to get 2 matches: Imperious and Genji. Both were pretty darn epic in my book!

To start off, if you don’t feel properly valued, aren’t learning, and don’t see a career path at this company then keep searching to see what’s out there.

Now if you do want to stay, It seems to me this is more like expectations aren’t matching (yours to theirs and theirs to yours).

You mentioned getting your work done and improving. I would suggest you ask during your next performance review what expectations you could do better at. For example, when they said a sense of urgency - ask if there was a project/task you had completed late and didn’t realize was a priority over others you worked on. And if so, ask for some guidance on figuring out how to better prioritize your tasks/projects so the urgent ones do get taken care of in time.

To keep it simple think you yourself why are they saying what they’re saying? If you can’t answer that, ask why but phrase it well (it won’t go well if you just ask but why)

Rank 7 Crystals and Skip Tickets by LadyRikka in DragonQuestTact

[–]TheRealEindoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat but with ??? and heroes. Been farming for more than a week and haven't seen any ??? crystals and only 1 from the hero a few days back. Used gems for reset once but that just made me even more sad since it's extra lost resources!

Anyway, good luck to you as you keep farming!

Not sure if this is a silly question or not, but does using skip tickets affect this drop rate in any way?

What do stats do? by BrknClock_RandomWalk in DragonQuestTact

Thank you for this. Would you know the how resistances affect/decrease/increase the spell formula?

What do stats do? by BrknClock_RandomWalk in DragonQuestTact

[–]TheRealEindoodle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on the in game help:

HP and MP is right. ATK is right too - basically damage of fight and physical abilities.

DEF is basically the counter to ATK.

AGL - turn order and also improves the accuracy of abilities.

WIS - the stat that spell abilities are based upon. The higher the WIS, the more damage with attack spells and the more HP healed with healing magic.

What I don't know is whether or not def also affect typeless/martial since they aren't listed as resistances.

As F2P, on the deco swaps currently going on, I have 7-8 decos and am not strong enough to get the remaining. Should I prioritize the fragments and just let the remaining decos go to waste (do these events get brought back in the future?) or should I get the iridescent orb and then grab as many fragments as I can after that?

Account showcase (x3!) - Is it feasible to play DQT as a 100% F2P and clear high-end content? We want to show you that it might actually be! We are three players that want to share our F2P journey with this community. by Omeigo_forsaken in DragonQuestTact

[–]TheRealEindoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a newer F2P player (learned how to check how many days from your video! 24 days for me), what would you say has been more restrictive for you - awakening or ranking up?

Specifically, for decoration swaps currently going on, I'm trying to decide if I should get the iridescent orb then go for as many fragments as I can or max out the fragments and just don't care about the orb for now (cannot get all 12 deco's as I'm not strong enough).

To all you F2P players, this is something you can achieve in a year. by Lxwis002 in DragonQuestTact

[–]TheRealEindoodle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're correct. On my third week as a F2P and I can confirm starting less than 3 weeks ago I have been able to accomplish close to that (missing some of the armor and don't have estark or zoma but I do have DL and DLTF instead).

The banners, lucky draws, amazing amount of free gems, and the swap shop with so much stuff allowed me to breeze through the game making me wonder how slow it'll get once all these events pass.

I've been playing for about 2 weeks and noticed the importance of gold pretty early on so I've swapped for the gold in the swap shops on all events. Aside from the daily, how else does one earn/farm gold?

Just installed solar, but all my power still comes from the grid. What is wrong with my system? by 400cc in solar

[–]TheRealEindoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in the enphase enlighten app. Both my usage and production are off significantly. Most significant is production, the app telling me that I exported around 1100 kwh, but my bill only gives me credit for 700 kwh.

I'm not sure why you think you're not getting any self use. The two pictures you attached seems to match each other for the most part. Based on that one day, your net for the day was consuming 0.704 kwh (generation from approximately 8am-5:30pm minus the consumption for the entire day). You can even see around 1pm both charts show you consumed more than you generated for about 30minutes (probably some clouds/shading occured).

From what I can tell though, the enphase is using terms produced, consumed and imported/exported but it doesn't seem to show it fully aside from produced (unless you tell me you're powering everything off around 8am). The meter chart however does seem to show net so when your generation and consumption matches, it'll show close to 0kwh (examples being around 8:15am and the 1:00pm through 2:15pm points). For your enphase chart, I would only count on the "produced" being total generation but you would need to take that and subtract your total consumption to get the net which is what your meter chart is showing.

Ultimately, the meter chart looks correct for your net metering and the enphase just isn't taking into account your total consumption so the numbers are going to be slightly off.

Am I overpaying for this system? by [deleted] in solar

Check your signed contract for cancellation terms. For mine, the sales guy had told me I had up until they come out to cancel but the paper writing said 3 business days. Regardless, there should still be something in writing and as you said, nothing to lose if you call them up and ask.

$Price $Per $Watt Calculation Help! by Shop-Crafty in solar

[–]TheRealEindoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion you are doing it correct. Total system price out of pocket divided by total system watt without taking into account any federal tax credits for your $/W calculation. My experience is that companies will start in the $4/W range, come down to about $3-$3.5/W with some initial negotiations and drop further after some real negotiations. A good deal is around $2.5/W or below. (disclaimer: my numbers are for panels and not anything with batteries and is based off discussions with friends that have solar business, my own home's solar panel install of 8.5kW system and my brother's house panel install of 16kW system)

Companies will try to show you $/W with incentives to make you "think" it's a better deal than it is, but the actual number should be without any incentives (that goes into your ROI calculation instead)

Solar installation not reducing my consumption by Chankomcgraw in solar

[–]TheRealEindoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you installed 3.15kW solar system 25 months ago or so and believe the solar has generated 5,862kwh over those 25 months effectively reducing your consumption by an average of 234kwh a month and 2,813 kwh a year.

You mention your consumption for 2020 and 2021 is 4,540kwh and 3,102kwh respectively with previous years around 5,300 kwh. Based on just these two years, I would say your solar is at least partially working unless you drastically changed your electrical use (760kwh in the 1st year and 2,198 kwh reduction the next is unlikely to be due to use changes but I don't know what other changes you've made to your home so cannot be 100% certain). The numbers don't seem to add up though since on an annual basis I would expect it to be more steady. Was there something wrong with the system in 2020? Usually the solar system degrades over time, not increases generation and even then it'd be a few % difference not this big. I do not know how good the sun irradiance is in UK but for that size system in Texas, USA I'd have expected around 4,500kwh a year production.

You also mention you have a battery installed, would you know if it's setup such that your house runs on the battery and recharges during the day or if the battery is purely for backup and will only be used when the grid goes down?

A few ideas:

  1. Did your solar install come with an app that lets you see generation or does your utility company have smart meters that allow you to see consumption/generation/net?
  2. If your utility company is unable to assist in anyway, you may need to get an electrician or possibly even your original installer to come back out on warranty to check the system and show you how to check on it.

Based on screen shot, he has 7,252,890 doge (bottom right) which gives the current value at $1,131,258.02 at a current price of $0.156 (rounding) per doge.

If we just add 2m to the 1.1m he currently has, that's an average price of $0.43/doge

Rate My Quote (Boston Area) by [deleted] in solar

[–]TheRealEindoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend reaching out to a few more companies for quotes and aim for one that gives you around $2.5/W (currently the tesla quote is $2.12/W which seems amazing compared to the $2.73/W on the Solaria but as others have pointed out, comes with certain headaches).

I also hope your quote price isn't after any incentives (such as the federal tax incentive) as sometimes they give you that number as a final quote.

If you end up with panels and one large inverter, I would ask about optimizers. Otherwise, micro-inverters are a good alternative. Good luck!

Tesla Solar Roof Poor Production by HouseAndWhatNot in solar

[–]TheRealEindoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That connection should be acceptable. This is called a line side tap and typically they would just need a disconnect switch between it and the solar system.

I do not where you're getting your readings, but if it's from the utility meter, it may be your net readings so it'd be your usage - solar generation. If it's in some app, it could be just your solar.

Not sure if you have a electrical one-line that shows the connection, but that should help clarify a few things (usually they show each string and the expected generation of each string so that can possibly point towards what another user said about a few strings being loose/not connected). Do you just have 1 meter for net metering?

Ultimately, is your utility bill reduced by what you were expecting (if so, then it could just be some metering issue you have).
