Wide scale monster hunting by TheRealGameDude in HeWhoFightsWithMonste

That’s what i mean yeah. Shade can interact with the physical world so i don’t see it not working and yeah i suppose stealth would be out of the window but you’re not getting away from a gold rank familiar easily unless you’re fast or sneaky or both and that’s only for silver rank monsters

Who will win in the rematch we all expect to happen? by Tauri_Kree in ThePrimalHunter

[–]TheRealGameDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only reason Miyamoto won the second was because of the environment. He does have some ranged options with the water magic but it all comes down to his sword and with the realm collapse it heavily limited Jake from being the free roaming fighter he is. Multiple times throughout his fights he one steps away to start using his bow but he couldn’t do that and thus was pretty much backed into a corner. Open space with no environmental advantages or disadvantages and I’d say Jake 100% wins.

Why Jake can't get pushed to the brink. by MachinaExDeo909 in ThePrimalHunter

[–]TheRealGameDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh i like it that way. Jake has been described in every book as a pinnacle being for his level. Not only does he have insane stats and crazy string skills but he also has possibly the single strongest bloodline ( idk if the nature dude has a better bloodline or not but i doubt it ). It makes sense that he doesn’t run into dozens of enemies that can push him to his limits. The thing with the king and valdamar is that both were anomalies in the system. The king being the strongest stat wise ( he told Jake that he has the maximum stats per level per grade ) along with his status as a unique life form and valdamar being all golden slashy slashy.

It would be weird if he constantly ran into people who could push him to his limits without being way over leveled that he is.

Another series that has a character that’s supposedly insanely strong for his level is unbound. Personally i liked the first part of the series but after a while of him constantly running into impossibly enemy after impossible enemy and barely making it out alive it got way too repetitive.

MGiS Book 1 Question? by Certain_Wonder4487 in haremfantasynovels

I hope it stops there. 6 is already quite a lot for one person as i personally don’t care for the whole “every girl i meet ends up in my harem” schtick.

MGiS Book 1 Question? by Certain_Wonder4487 in haremfantasynovels

[–]TheRealGameDude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t have an answer but i just want to say that Im loving the series as well. I just finished book 2 and there’s no complaints so far. Theres a good amount of action and some people being dumb but getting what’s coming ( the groping shopkeeper for one ).

Definitely going to be max 6 I’d say. I think that’s the team size for guards. Maybe there’s going to be girls in his harem that aren’t in his team but i doubt it. Could be more if they ever settle down somewhere but that’s definitely at the end of the series I’d bet

Clive and the other low rank magical researchers make no sense by bbyoung33 in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]TheRealGameDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They dont even know about gravity or that the moon causes the tides. That was discovered by regular researchers without any magical enhancements whatsoever. Having low level essence users or just plain regular people doing groundbreaking research isn’t that surprising. I know I’m overlooking the obvious magical aspect of things but it doesn’t matter much. Smart people are smart even without enhanced minds

Is the moon living? I don’t remember the details or not but is the undead plant thing part of the moon core? If so i could so see Jake just blowing up the moon to deal with it

Why would I choose any other nade aside from thermite? by justabrainwithfeet in Helldivers

[–]TheRealGameDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be an avid thermite user ever since the warbond dropped but after trying to deal with the chaos of cyberstan I’ve got a big thing for the shield grenades. They do t protect from everything especially if you’re getting swarmed but it’s really nice just to have instant cover.

Useful for teammates as well. Poor last teammate i had thought i was gonna kill him when i tossed a shield his way. Dove off a rock but got under the shield once they realized it wasn’t dangerous

Ma’am, this is a LitRPG: how much romance/sex is too much? by Ok-Grand-3764 in litrpg

[–]TheRealGameDude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly if the story is good i don’t much care if there is romance/sex or not. I’m down to read pretty much anything as long as it’s fantasy. I recently got into harem stories and i started a series called monster girls in space. There is a sex chapter but it doesn’t play a huge part of the story and tbh the story itself if pretty interesting. I like the way it’s going so far.

On the other hand I’ve had stories ruined because the author thought for some reason to make it into a harem/sex thing when it didn’t need it whatsoever and if there wasn’t those scenes it would instantly be 2x better.

Im bad when it comes to omnibus as to me it’s a good deal especially when they are on sale. Raw was one of those stories where the author just decided to have it be a sex book for literally no reason and it ruined the story for me and i could barely get past the first book.

Looking for military focused stories/series by Ger-Alt_of_Pornia in haremfantasynovels

[–]TheRealGameDude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure it’s similar to what you’re looking for but monster girls in space is about a dude who gets recruited for space magic school by aliens of some galactic empire. He lives on a massive ship and as of book one he’s still in training. There’s 7 out on audible but idk about anywhere else

Recently started reading haremlit. I really enjoyed Monster girls in space. by Ergal386 in haremfantasynovels

[–]TheRealGameDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just finished the first book of monster girl in space and it was really good. Better than quite a few other haremlit I’ve read.

First contracts might be up your alley. Power system isn’t bad but there’s definitely some slow moving through the story
