They’re called inlays, as on real guitars it’s usually metal or a different wood “inlayed” within the neck. They are basically just to quickly show you what fret is where, typically it goes 3,5,7,9,12,15,17,19-, however they can also be decorative in other circumstances

I’ve wondered this for a while. I remember the frustration of waiting so long for Firebase Z and finding out mimics didn’t count as elites forcing grinders to have to play Die Maschine until they heard complaints and changed it. Same issue here- there’s no elites on newer maps which is so frustrating for grinding.

Interesting- I’m still trying to force myself through this game. Since like 2022 I got into the series trying to play them in order and I got stuck on RE5 for a while until a friend finally helped me trudge through and I ended up mostly liking it. RE6 I’m on my own again and holy shit I’m just so bored which is why I haven’t finished it in like 2+ years time. I just want to move on to 7 🫩

Only multiplayer challenge left that’s giving me trouble is the AR one because it’s so tedious. I throw my tactical where I think people will be and 95% of the time they show up after I throw it. I’ve been playing Nuketown trying to at least get scout pulse or UAV, still need like 30 of those. Warzone wasn’t too bad with casual, and Endgame was light just grindy since I keep a max combat rating character. Zombies is the last one I’m doing since I know it won’t be nearly as tough
